I'm suspicious...
Initially rated 3 stars for suspension of being used. After opening the pump it had a decent amount of liquid in it and while the smell of fuel didn't immediately flow upon opening, it did smell like fuel or a fuel supplement when closer. Also the handle is missing, again not a big deal but if it's being sold as new, one whould expect everything to be as such.Mine did not come with the alligator clips pictured. Instead it has a SAE connection with a crappy electrical tape job. I am afraid to take of the electrical tape to see how the connections are made but I know I must. My specific product seems like a used item that was modified and resold for whatever reason. This isn't a big deal but selling as new when it isn't is a huge issue.

    I recieved this pump expecting it to be a bit flimsy and small, it is however pretty heavy and solid. It is in a nice cradle to keep it safe, I have it mounted in a truck bed and it pumps at a very good rate. The hose is on the cheap side, but it is very flexible and easy to maneuver without kinking.     Primes quickly and pumps well. I adapted mine to replace a bad rotary hand pump on a portable fuel caddy. I added a water separator and particulate filter on the output side. Pump and filters are all 3/4” NPT and with a little brush on sealant on the threads I had no leaks at all. Works very well for my tractor refueling needs.

    I expected this to be a quality pump but I wasn't prepared for just how good it is. I use these type of pumps often and I needed this for a remote job to empty diesel from a large tank. This sucked the tank dry in a much shorter time than I expected. It was quiet and smooth. Even though it did not get hot, I still used it for 15 minutes on, then 5 minutes of rest. It could have done the whole job continuously I'm sure.
