    Nice hitch out of the box
    I’m giving this hitch a 4 star review just because it didn’t come w/instructions. I’m unsure how this will perform, the product seems solid however, on the 6” drop down the lowest setting can’t be used, threads don’t line up.The anti-theft bolts seems great.. But the Wrench that was sent spun out after the lock washers lined up.. but I’m skeptical if I correctly have this installed. I doubt, I’ll ever get this back off my truck.. so I hope it holds up.It will fit “sloppy” in a 2”receiver. I’m installing on a 08 F-150 w/ 3 1/2” lift. I’m only pulling a 5x8 utility trailer. So hopefully this hitch holds up.

      I bought this hitch for my husband and found the supplied wrench-key is not strong enough to tighten the supplied bolts and spreads open, failing to tighten the bolts. Also the receiver shank is too short and the hitch pivots forward and rearward significantly creating too much movement when braking and accelerating. Product is unusable and I do not recommend purchasing this product.

      Hitch is awesome, but the security wrench that only can fit there bolts is too soft and just spread opens after the first bold and rounds the stainless still security heads off. Just plan on grinding down a quality box end wrench to fit it if you buy it. I thought you might be able to just replace the bolts with regular bolts but it is not regular thread. it is 1/32 shy of being 5/8inch diameter and 13threads/inch (not regular for 5/8). It is not metric also. They made them on a cnc machine to their own specs so no one could replace them with stealable bolts.

      It can mount right-side-up, or upside-down (see photos).
      You've got two different hitch sizes and a loop to secure straps or chains to.
      The hitch piece also adjusts in height.
      There were no instructions, but I figured it out without much fuss.
      The only unusual thing about this product is that it relies on screw-in bolts to hold it in place rather than a traditional rod and pin. As long as you tighten them down well, the assembly should stay in place.
      The wrench seems to be the "secret key" here.
      Providing nobody who wants to steal your hitch (or whatever you've got attached to it) doesn't have that same unusual wrench, you should be good.
      My true rating here would be 4.5 but I've rounded up.

      As in the title, the fastening system is a nice concept. I like the fact that it came with a tow loop. Appears to be pretty stout. What I didn't like is the fact that the fastening system bolts started to loosen up at the receiver end with just the weight of the ball assembly bolted to it. I found that I needed a longer drop (8") than the 6" I purchased for the trailer I bought after the fact. My fault there. I kept this hitch and actually drilled out all the threaded holes to accept a 5/8" pin system. I simply want to keep it due to the strap loop. 4 stars cause the bolts did loosen up on me.
