I tried stretching it over my vacuum end but the suction then is not strong as it’s not a perfect seal and barely picked up anything. It also fell off easily. Finally, an inexpensive simple product that works. Somehow the dryer cleaning tool i made from 1/2" PVC and a coat hanger disappeared. Found this and love it. Fit right on the hose of the Shop Vac. Cleaned out the front vent in seconds. Did make an annoying whistle noise a few times but you only have to deal with that for a few seconds. Plastic is flexible and seems good quality. Would recommend this tool.

For its cost, it’s worth the purchase. Though with one caveat - pair with HIGH powered vacuum.
I use this with my Dyson V15 handheld on its strongest setting and it works great. Lint has to travel through the long, narrow hose so a lot of suction power is lost and lint can easily get stuck on its way out. I can’t see this working well without a strong vacuum.

But otherwise, works very well. I used to have to clean out my dryer’s lint trap with a wire hanger contraption that never got it fully empty. Very easy with this attachment. I clean it about once a month or so.
