ALGIERS- Some 1700 healthcare professionals, all services included, have been infected with the coronavirus (Covid-19) in Algeria, since the outset of the outbreak in the country in February, Prof. Abdelkrim Soukehal, a member of the scientific committee for monitoring the progress of the pandemic, said Wednesday in Algiers, adding that the virus spreads "very quickly" worldwide.
