Final chart position for Skepta’s ‘Konnichiwa’ announced
‘Konnichiwa’ becomes grime’s highest ever charting album, debuting at number two on this week’s official album chart.
The album replaced Kano’s ‘Made In The Manor’ which came in at number eight earlier this year.
Ahead in the midweeks, it seemed as if Skepta was on course for top slot. Eventually he was overhauled by Radiohead, who pipped him to the post with their ninth studio album.
