New Delhi/Mumbai, September 7, 2012:SpiceJet, India’s preferred low fare airline, today started its direct flight services from Jabalpur to Delhi and Mumbai. With the new flights, SpiceJet has further expanded of its network in Madhya Pradesh.
Jabalpur is SpiceJet’s third destination in Madhya Pradesh and being a low-cost carrier it would be offering affordable air connectivity to passengers. In MP, SpiceJet currently operates from Bhopal and Indore
SpiceJet would be operating two daily direct flights from Jabalpur. The airline launched direct services on Jabalpur-Delhi and Jabalpur-Mumbai routes.
The airline has deployed its Bombardier Q400 NextGen Turboprop aircraft, which can accommodate 80 passengers and is widely preferred as the best option for short haul destinations, on these two routes.
SpiceJet is working on new destinations in domestic markets as well as on international routes as the carrier has set its sights on expanding its coverage in phases. Under its expansion in the international market, SpiceJet announced this month the launch of Delhi-Kabul flight. The launch of Kabul services is a milestone for the airline as SpiceJet is the sole private Indian carrier to operate services to this country. Delhi-Kabul service started on August 14, 2012.
