esctoday.com national final awards 2010

The 2010 esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between April and May, which means between the national final season and the Eurovision Song Contest. We will repeat the same format with two rounds for nominations which was used this year - you can read how it works here. However, this time the individual polls for each country will always be held right after the national final, when the entries are still fresh. You can vote for your favourite performance not to qualify in the Moldovan national final here and for your favourite song not to qualify here.

In 2009, Moldova was represented by Nelly Ciobanu, who finished fifth in the second semi final and 14th in the final with the song Hora din Moldova. In 2010, the country will compete in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 25th May.

I think this will do well in Oslo, but I don't like it, if they improve vocals and with non circus clothes, I can like it a bit! And without silly instruments> trumpets, saxophone etc. :S

Oh this is such an unfunny bashing game Drama Queens x Sunstroke Project & Olia. Don´t pay attention to them Sunstroke Project & Olia!! It´s not worthy.

Great song! Definitely in my Top 3. Moldovan National Final was undoubtedly the best this year.
Good luck Moldova!

You are being over dramatic...Sure vocals and stage performance need improvement but the song itself is fresh and stands out.IT WILL QUALIFY FOR SURE!!! ( 10 out 17 songs will qualify and this is not in the bottom 7 list). So before spontaneously start bashing, reconsider and think about the level of the other songs chosen this year...
Moldova 10 / 12 !!! I quite enjoyed this eurovision weekend!!! :)

Moldovan language doesn't exist. They speak romanian and russian, these 2 are the main languages in Moldova. Romanian is their base language, followed by russian.

Good song, but I am surprised they are taking on a Russian woman to sing for them, who it appears does not speak Moldovan! if she is Russian but speaks in Russian how can she be living in Moldova?

Anastasia Romanskii [61077]

Eurovision 5 - Coral: Olia is russian but she was born in Moldova

I don't speak any Romanian but I saw an interview of Olia and she was speaking in a language which seemed to be slavic. Isn't she Romanian/Moldovan? Where does she come from?

It is not bad I suppose, but I think her English/vocals need improving. To be honest it is not my cup of tea.

Best of Luck Moldova ;) (L) (L)

The entry is a plagarism of Pandoras hit song Dont You Know.

I'm a little bit torn...I can't decide if I like it or not. I like the beat, the rhythm and the saxophone-part, but the vocals are a annoying, especially the male ones!

problem with this song is: weither they sing it in English or in Ukraine ... you can't understand it!! Their english is so poor ... love the sax solo though!! No final for Ukraine this year!

They had so many great songs to choose from ... and in the end we get THIS?

Rob Dell [39765]
Sun 7 Mar 2010 14:41:00

Oh dear.....

This is really bad. The vocals are flat and the English pronunciation very poor.

They make the UK's Jemini from a few years ago look good.
Nul points then.

@Molly
I forgot - in English they use "B" instead of "H", so it should be "B minor". :)

The songs isn't too bad but the performance is awful. needs a total reworking to qualify I reckon.

wow that's the scariest make up I've seen since Patricia Kraus..! still, far more interesting than the "song" itself..another one bites the dust....

This song is simple trash! I can't find anything I like in this song! This is just a simple pile of trash, nothing else! I'm disappointed with Moldova!
