Someone Like Adele May Grace Vogue's March Issue

Rumor has it that Billboard Artist of the Year Adele will be striking a pose on the cover of Vogue this spring. WWD is reporting that Vogue, the world's most influential fashion magazine, has recruited the "Someone Like You" singer for the March 2012 cover story.

To the surprise of no one, recent "Saturday Night Live" guest Michael Buble spends a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with "Christmas," selling 448,000 (down 7%) according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Released two months ago, the album has sold 1.96 million in the U.S., now making it the year's third-best seller so far. (There are two more sales weeks left in 2011.) Way out in front is Adele's blockbuster "21" album, with 5.28 million sold. Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" is in second at the moment with 2.03 million.

Further, with "21" having just recently crossed the 5 million mark, it becomes the biggest-selling album of any year since 2004, when Usher's "Confessions" shifted 8 million copies.

Back on this week's top 10 chart though, "21" holds at No. 2, selling another 277,000 (up 48%). This is the album's 42nd non-consecutive week in the top five (out of its total 43 weeks on the tally). The album's latest single, "Set Fire to the Rain," moves up the Digital Songs chart (17-7) with 100,000 sold (up 75%) and also rises on the Pop Songs airplay chart, zooming 26-18.

Justin Bieber's "Under the Mistletoe" climbs 4-3 on the Billboard 200 with 171,000 (up 8%), the Black Keys' "El Camino" drives down 2-4 with 85,000 (down 59%) and Lady Antebellum's "Own the Night" zips 15-5 with 81,000 (up 60%). The country trio performed on ABC's "Good Morning America" show on Dec. 14 and "Live With Kelly" the following day. It's the highest rank for "Own" since the Oct. 22 chart, when it ranked at No. 4 in its fourth week on the list.

Nickelback's "Here and Now" rises 8-6 (80,000; up 22%), Drake's "Take Care" is steady at No. 7 (77,000; up 5%), Andrea Bocelli's "Concerto: One Night in Central Park" slips 6-8 (76,000; down 3%) and Scotty McCreery's "Clear As Day" climbs 13-9 (67,000; up 29%). Rounding out the top 10 is Amy Winehouse's "Lioness: Hidden Treasures," falling 5-10 in its second week (65,000; down 43%). The chart's highest debut is found at No. 12, where Anthony Hamilton's "Back to Love" starts with 63,000.

On the Digital Songs chart this week, LMFAO is a non-mover at No. 1 with "Sexy and I Know It" selling another 152,000 downloads (up 2%) while Rihanna's "We Found Love" also stays put at No. 2 (149,000; down less than 1%). Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" skips 5-3 (126,000; up 1%) and Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" holds at No. 4 (nearly 126,000; down 3%). Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Ni**as In Paris" rises 7-5 (117,000; up 9%) and Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" remains at No. 6 for a second week (116,000; down 2%).

Following Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" (17-7 with 100,000; up 75%), we find Big Sean's "Dance (A$$)" (featuring Nicki Minaj) jumping 11-8 with 89,000 (up 15%). Adele has a second song in the top 10, as "Someone Like You" rises 10-9 with just under 88,000 (up 4%), while T-Pain's "5 O'Clock" falls 9-10 with 87,000 (down 1%).

Just outside the top 10, Ke$ha's "Sleazy" re-enters at No. 15 with 63,000 (up 5,639%) after a new remix of the track was released last week. The new version -- which is merged together with the original album cut for charting purposes -- boasts hip-hop stars Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000.

The Digital Songs chart's highest debut is way down at No. 58, where Tim McGraw's "Better Than I Used to Be" enters with 24,000 (up 384%).

Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Dec. 18) totaled 11.20 million units, up 15% compared to the sum last week (9.77 million) and down 10% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (12.49 million). Year to date album sales stand at 307.75 million, up 1% compared to the same total at this point last year (303.93 million).

Digital track sales this past week totaled 22.48 million downloads, up 4% compared to last week (21.69 million) and up 6% stacked next to the comparable week of 2010 (21.18 million). Year to date track sales are at 1.19 billion, up 9% compared to the same total at this point last year (1.09 billion).

Next week's Billboard 200 competes with the same week in 2010 when: Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" was firm at No. 1 again with 276,000 (up 7%) and Susan Boyle's "The Gift" was a non-mover at No. 2 with 240,000 (down 6%). The highest debut was Jamie Foxx's "Best Night of My Life" at No. 6 with 144,000. Keyshia Cole's "Calling All Hearts" also saw a top 10 arrival, bowing at No. 9 with 128,000.
