Dr. S. Padmavati was born in Burma and received her early education there. She had a brilliant undergraduate career. Specialised in Cardiology in the U.K., U.S.A. (Harvard University and Johns Hopkins Hospital) and in Sweden after postgraduate education in the U.K.
