Interest: Japan's Nico Nico Douga Video Site Starts English Beta
posted on 2011-04-20 14:20 EDTThe popular Japanese website Nico Nico Douga launched a new beta website on Monday, featuring an English-language version of its video sharing and commenting service.
Users who have already established accounts on the Japanese Nico Nico website can use the same account credentials to log into the new English site. Users can also create a new account or log in via their Facebook accounts.
Additionally, the website features the text "Join Premium," although the text is not a link. The user settings area provides a link for users to register for a premium membership, which takes the user to a page stating that they are still preparing the premium membership and will announce more details "soon."
