Panoramas of the World

Perth II (Australia)

It is hard to find a large city which is as isolated as Perth on the southwest coast of Australia. It is separated from the cities in the east of the continent by the enormous Australian desert. More than 1.3 million inhabitants live in the sunny city on the Swan River and Indian Ocean.

From Kings Park you get the most beautiful panoramic view of the city. Perth is very modern and very alive. After his historical flight in 1962, astronaut John Glenn described Perth as a "city of the lights". Visitors certainly experience the relaxed atmosphere of this metropolis.
