The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Fire Authority

The Fire Authority comprises 17 elected councillors, 13 from Cambridgeshire County Council and 4 from Peterborough City Council. The Fire Authority meets four times a year at Fire Service Headquarters in Hinchingbrooke, Huntingdon. Meetings of the Fire Authority are open to the public.

Since its formation in 1998 the Authority has sought to provide the highest possible standards in firefighting, rescue services, fire safety and support functions.
