Gameplay is similar to the arcade version. You must
go through the city and try to take out your enemies
from a distance before they realize you're even there.
In contrast to most arcade shooters, you must take care
in your shooting, as enemies are not always easy to
find, and sometimes civilians might get in the way.
Whereas the arcade version used a special gun device
with a working scope for sniping purposes, the Dreamcast
simulates the effects of the sniper rifle through the
use of the Dreamcast controller and a special zoom function
unique to the home version.
The zoom function displays on screen a magnified section
of your chosen area. The zoom window can be moved around
at will, or can be turned off to allow you to re-aim
your gun more easily. The zoom window can be resized,
a feature new to the home version.
Graphics and sounds from the arcade version are perfectly
recreated, and several new features have also been added
in the home version. In addition to increased depth
of play, where shooting specific body parts of your
enemies may reap special awards, a new firing range
mode gives you plenty of practice between games.
