The aim of the work is the design and creation of a part of an automated production line. Origina... more The aim of the work is the design and creation of a part of an automated production line. Originality. The paper deals with the research on surveys for development of a low-cost prototype of automated production line controlled by microcontroller. Methodology. The paper proposes one of the possibilities for development automated production line using Arduino ATmega2560 platform together with the CNC shield V3, which provides the functionality of the motors. Three motors and two sensors were used for its implementation. Parts of the model were designed by CAD software and then printed using a 3D printer. Authors described whole development process starting from computer simulation of developing device, hardware design, chose and calculation of power conversion elements, development of hardware unit, design and implementation low-level and high-level software solutions and also experimental verification of derived results. Results. In this work it was solved the design of the hardware part in CAD software. The designed hardware was printed by 3D printers. The software part is solved using Arduino, which is a serial communication connected to an application created using Visual Studio. The operation of the production line was controlled via created application powered by Arduino. Practical value. Advantage of automation is to increase production speed and eliminate the need for human intervention in production, thereby increasing accuracy and eliminating the possibility of errors that a human factor could entail in the process. The disadvantage of an automated system is the complex manufacturing configuration. Therefore, such systems achieve the greatest efficiency in mass production where there is no need for frequent system setup. References 8, figures 14.

System developed for remote measurements of electrical circuit via the Internet allows assembling electrical circuits remotely. Students are able to design electrical circuit using the circuit elements; they can select elements from the defined set of electrical elements and create connections between them. Then is the circuit proposal assembled using real electrical elements. Students are able to control source voltage levels and read the values on measure devices. Present system state can be used for education or also for commercial purpose of electrical circuit measurements.
In the article we present a graphical representation of selected statistical parameters long-time... more In the article we present a graphical representation of selected statistical parameters long-time measurement of the voltage in the network. The parameters are calculated from samples of 900 measured values (15-minute measurement interval - one measured value per second), measured by UT 803 multimeter. Changes in statistical parameters will allow to detect the dynamics of connecting/disconnecting electrical appliances, long-term too high or too low voltage, or short-time power failure. The reason for some major parameter changes is revealed by a graphical representation of the time courses of the respective measurement section at that day and hour.

The paper describes proposed and realized centralized access system with remote control possibility. The authentication is based on RFID technology using MFRC522 module and access system is based on client/server communication between ESP8266 and centralized database. The goal of the project is to show possibility where todays IoT modules can be used also as a main controller not just as a communication interface. It allows more efficient integration and cost save solutions. The research is focused to create multi-node IoT system supporting client-server, but also peer-to-peer communication.

The authors proposed method for special data transfer which could increase security of data and according to Multi-Path TCP the speed of transfer will increase too. Communication between control panel and secondary devices considered to be carried out by UART interface. If it is necessary to use more secondary devices the necessity of use multiplexer and (de)multiplexer for communication by means UART interface was grounded. The advantage of system designed in this way is that for safety respectively to replace any of the secondary devices do not lead to change of the entire ESS but only the part that should be replaced. Exchange for example because of the secondary part does not dispose with a sufficient amount of pins for other devices respectively, enhancement of the secondary device with sensor that needs to communicate multiple pins. It means that the software part will be change only to the part which is dedicated to the particular secondary device.

One of the new areas in which mobile devices are used is remote control or in function of user interface to various devices. This document shows a possibility of such remote control of mobile robot. Student using this VMLab system for e-Learning is to be helped to create simple or complexelectrical connections. He/she selects the individual devices and components from a previously defined library. These allowusers to compose various electric schemes and to make their measurements according to the teacher’s instructions. Fromthe educational point of view there is a great benefit for students that they can learn to work with real devices even withouthaving them physically available. IoT technology is gaining more and more popularity in practice, as it collects, processes, evalua... more IoT technology is gaining more and more popularity in practice, as it collects, processes, evaluates and stores important measured data. The IoT is used every day in the work, in the home or smart houses or in public areas. It realizes the connectivity between real world and digital world which means, that it converts physical quantities of the real world in the form of analog signals into digital numbers stored in clauds. It is essential that students gain practical experience in the design and implementation of the IoT systems during their studies. The article first describes IoT issues and communication protocols used in IoT generally are closer described. Then the design and implementation of an educational model of IoT system-Weather station with the ThingSpeak cloud support is described. The created IoT model interconnects microcontroller programming, sensors and measuring, cloud API interfaces, MATLAB scripts which are useful to analyses the stored data, Windows and Android application developing.

Originality. The paper deals with the research on surveys for development an IoT device for searching correct store location of the devices in the laboratory and support asset checking for selected location. Methodology. The paper proposes one of the possibilities for development an IoT device basing on ESP8266 using Nextion intelligent display and a Windows application developed using C#. Retrieving data from a remote database, the application updates the data from central server. Authors described the whole development process starting from computer design of the proposed IoT device, chose the elements for hardware unit, design and implementation the Windows application and also experimental verification of derived results. Result. In this work authors proposed experimental sample of IoT system for the asset control via barcode scanning. The client-server application was designed to support the control of property records with the design of IoT equipment. The design of IoT devices is realized by modular connection of components. By implementing the GUI on the display, it is possible to control the reader module and observe the records in the informative mode and the control mode. 3D models are a device in a housing, where the output is a display. Using developed application, it is possible to connect to an IoT device and perform asset registration control by communicating with each other. This system implements all theoretical results described in the paper, and confirms them basing on the experiments provided. Practical value. Proposed IoT system could be practically used in university laboratories to control equipment location at any moment of time. References 11, figures 14.

Input data are processed by multiple devices due to speed and job allocation for individual devices. This paper describes using of parallel processing input values by two microcontroller STM32F446RE and microcontroller STM32F746ZG which is presented as a master device. The other microcontrollers are slaves. This device processing input logic status from 32 input buttons that makes 32-bit word. There is master /slave architecture, where slaves scan the pins and send the status to the master device. The primary advantage of parallel processing is dividing of tasks between two or more processors and it means that each processor can operates independently with a smaller number of operations. This advantage does not burden the processor such as if only one processor operates. As result it was created equipment for educational purposes to train specialists in the field of data processing.
