The Motto Hoodie is our most popular hoodie on campus. This premium peach fleece hoodie features a front kangaroo pouch with an ultra-plush brushed lining. Hooded with adjustable drawstring, ribbed cuffs and waistband. Fabric: 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester. Decorated with a combination of tackle twill and embroidery applications with the University of Calgary Coat of Arms logo across the chest, our interlocking UC on the left sleeve and our Gaelic motto "Mo shuile togam suas" on the hood. Fun fact: our motto, which is pronounced "moh HOO-luh TOH-gum SU-us" translates as "I will lift up mine eyes," and is meant to be in Scottish Gaelic, in recognition of the Scottish heritage of the founders of the University.
