Pristine – All original. 007 James Bond Z3 Roadster. 1 of 100 built.

In 1995 BMW and Neiman Marcus (the American department store) decided to make 20 exact copies of the BMW roadster that was used in the soon to be released James Bond movie Goldeneye. The car was to be available thru the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog. The lucky owners would all receive two tickets to the movie premiere in Hollywood, Ca. The cars would have special interiors and were to be fully optioned. The response from the public was overwhelming and based on the response 100 cars were built instead of the original 20.

The owner of our 007 Z3 was on a business trip and saw an article on the upcoming car in the Chicago newspaper. He immediately called and ordered one for his wife.

  The owner and his wife flew to the Chinese Theater in Hollywood for the premiere. They got to meet Pierce Brosnan.  A wonderful time was had by all. The car was driven sparingly. It travelled only 7600 miles in the next 24 years.

The car came with a chrome luggage rack, which was to be installed on the cars trunk lid. The owner couldn’t bring himself to drill holes in the trunk lid so it was never installed.

The car has all of it’s original paperwork including premiere tickets and the Bond memorabilia that came with the car when new.
