Everyday, over 5.4 billion people around the world use the internet — or about 67% of the global population. Most of those visits, according to SimilarWeb data, are spent on search engines and social media platforms.

As of July, Google made up the largest share of the web traffic market, with 84.3 billion monthly visits — or 18.34% of traffic share.
