  1. Freeride skiing – the values of freedom and creativity.Jusa Impiö & Jim Parry - 2024 - Journal of the Philosophy of Sport 51 (2):350-366.
Freeride skiing is the fastest-growing sector of the skiing industry, but there are no studies analyzing its nature and values. • Psychoanalysis of technoscience: symbolisation and imagination.Hub Zwart - 2019 - Berlin / Münster / Zürich: LIT.
This volume aims to develop a philosophical diagnostic of the present, focussing on contemporary technoscience. psychoanalysis submits contemporary technoscientific discourse to a symptomatic reading, analysing it with evenly-poised attention and from an oblique perspective. • Destiny of Drives and the Triangular Method: Starting Points for a Psychoanalytic Philosophy of Sport.Odilon José Roble - 2024 - Sport, Ethics and Philosophy 18 (1):7-22.
This text argues that psychoanalytic philosophy is a valuable tool for the Philosophy of Sport. To situate it within the philosophical tradition, I place Freud’s ideas as an heir to the Philosophy of Impulse of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. Then, I explain how psychoanalytic philosophy can be understood as a form of hermeneutics, which aligns well with the interests of the field. I also recognise the importance of questioning whether we can consider sports and their events as analysable psychoanalytic facts. To (...)
