Abstract

A method of bonding steel members which comprises the following steps in the following order: a steel member preparation step (S110) in which two steel members each containing chromium are prepared; a bonded-object formation step (S120) in which the two steel members are bonded to each other to form a bonded object; and a bond strength enhancement step (S140) in which the bonded object is heated to a second temperature in the range of 800-1,150°C and then gradually cooled to a third temperature not higher than 600°C to thereby heighten the bond strength of the bonded object. The method is characterized in that in the steel member preparation step (S110), two sintered steel members are prepared as the two steel members, and that in the bonded-object formation step (S120), the two sintered steel members are bonded to each other to form a bonded object.
