Abstract

The invention relates to a method for increasing the efficiency of natural gas, especially pressurised natural gas which is used as an energy carrier for all types of vehicles, aeroplanes, boats and machine tools. According to the invention, an additive which lends the natural gas an ignition-reinforcing characteristic is added to the natural gas before the combustion. Hydrogen and acetylene are especially suitable as additives.
