FIG. 18 is a back plan view of the corner trim shown inFIG. 15 . -
FIG. 19 is a side elevational view of the corner trim shown inFIG. 18 . -
FIG. 20 is a front perspective view of the present invention of a corner trim shown deployed together with horizontal and vertical casing. -
FIG. 21 is a front partial cut away elevational view of the present invention a corner trim in left hand and right hand versions shown together deployed with horizontal casings and vertical casings. - The present device a corner trim shown generally as 110 in
FIG. 1 , shown as analternate embodiment 210 inFIG. 8 and shown yet as anotheralternate embodiment 310 inFIG. 15 . -
Corner trim 110 includesvertical leg 112 having a verticalouter edge 114, a verticalinternal edge 116 and ahorizontal stop edge 118.Corner trim 110 further includes ahorizontal leg 120 including a horizontalouter edge 122, a horizontalinner edge 124 and avertical stop edge 126.Horizontal leg 120 andvertical leg 112 meet atinner apex 130 andouter apex 128.FIGS. 6 and 7 show corner trim 110 deployed together withvertical casing 192 andhorizontal casing 190. Trim components namelycorner trim 110,horizontal casing 190 andvertical casing 192 are used for example for trimming around the periphery of a door and/or window opening. - Referring now to
FIGS. 8 through 14 , showing alternateembodiment corner trim 210 which includesvertical leg 212 having a verticalouter edge 214, a verticalinner edge 216 and thehorizontal stop edge 218.Corner trim 210 further includes ahorizontal leg 220 having a horizontalouter edge 222 and a horizontalinner edge 224 and avertical stop edge 226.Horizontal leg 220 includes ahorizontal extension portion 240 having a horizontal extensioninner edge 242 and a horizontalextension stop edge 244.Vertical leg 212 andhorizontal leg 220 intersect atouter apex 228 andinner apex 230. -
Corner trim 210 is shown deployed inFIGS. 13 and 14 together withhorizontal casing 290 andvertical casing 292. The reader will note thatcorner trim 210 as depicted inFIG. 8 , is usually used together with a mirror image of itself as shown inFIG. 14 , wherein for example, deployingcorner trim 210 together withhorizontal casing 290 andvertical casing 292 in for example a door opening will result in the use of both a lefthand corner trim 210 and a righthand corner trim 211 which is a mirror image ofcorner trim 210. - Referring now to
FIGS. 15 through 21 showing yet another alternate embodiment, namelycorner trim 310 includingvertical leg 312 having a verticalouter edge 314, a verticalinner edge 316 and ahorizontal stop edge 318. -
Corner trim 310 further includes ahorizontal leg 320 having a horizontalouter edge 322 and horizontalinner edge 324 and avertical stop edge 326.Horizontal leg 320 further includes ahorizontal extension portion 340, having a horizontal extensioninner edge 342, a horizontal extension outer edge 346, and a horizontalextension stop edge 344. -
Vertical leg 312 further includes avertical extension portion 350 having a vertical extensioninner edge 354, a vertical extensionouter edge 356, and a verticalextension stop edge 358. -
Vertical leg 312 together withvertical extension portion 350, intersect withhorizontal leg 320 which includeshorizontal extension portion 340 at lowerinner apex 330, lowerouter apex 328, upperouter apex 348 and upperinner apex 352. -
FIGS. 20 and 21 show corner trim 310 deployed together withhorizontal casing 390 andvertical casing 392. A mirror image ofcorner trim 310, namelycorner trim 311 is often deployed together withcorner trim 310. In other words, corner trim same corner trim 310 as described here above. A person skilled in the art will recognize thatcorner trim 310 together withhorizontal casing 390 andvertical casing 392 is normally deployed around the periphery of door openings and window openings in the building constructions industry. - It should be apparent to persons skilled in the arts that various modifications and adaptation of this structure described above are possible without departure from the spirit of the invention the scope of which defined in the appended claim.
