The bearing blocks19 are secured to the outer facesof the main longitudinal frame members 1, at the opposite ends thereof andl the shafts 2O are mounted for rotation in said bearing blocks, said shafts-20 having thesprocket wheels 21 mounted thereon between the main longitudinal frame members 1 and one of said shafts being also provided with asprocket wheel 23 outwardly of one of said main longitudinal frame members for engagement by. a chain 23` connected to thesprocket wheel 23 mounted on the drive shaft 24 which has one end squared to receive a suitable crank (not shown), by means of which the drive shaft 24: .may be rotated.

the endless Sprocket chains 25 which are connected by the cross bars 2G, the endless Hexible member or apron 27 being secured to the under faces of the cross bars 26 by the securing strips 28 positioned against the under face of the endless flexible member or apron and fastened to the cross bars, with which said securing strips are parallel, thereby securely clamping the endless flexible member or apron 27 between said cross bars 26 and securing strips28. By connecting the movable members of the conveyer in this manner, said movable members. will be at all times retained in proper relation to one another during operation of the device and the cross bars 26 will serve .to retainmaterial in pro'per position' upon the endless flexible member or apr'n 2.7 while said-material isk being elevated to the upper end of the conveyer. AS the material 'reaches the upper tudinal edges secured -`upon the curved 'arms 31 which are hinged to the upper face of the main longitudinal vframe members 1 at spaced distances from the upper ends of the latter, as shown at 32, and having their lower faces cut away, as shown at 33, in order that the greater portions of said arms may rest upon the upper faces of the main longitudinal frame members 1 while the free ends of said curved arms 31 project over the upper ends of said main longitudinal frame members '1.
To guide the material tudinal center of the endless flexible member or apron 27, I. have provided the inclined guide members 34nd: the forward end of the frame and secured upon the main longitu- Ydinal frame members 1, said guide members 34 being inclined downwardly and inwardly toward thelongitudinal center of the endtoward the longirea'dily understood. I have also provided a sto plate 35 at the lower end of the frame, said plate being secured to the lower ends of the inclined guide members 34 to prevent any material from falling off of the lower .end of the conveyer.
From the foregoing, it will be apparent that I have provided 'an endless conveyer or elevator which may be of'extremely simple and cheap construction but which will be strong and durable in use and which will be especially adapted for use in elevating dirt l during operation of digging an underground silo or the like and wlnch is also especially adapted for elevating ensilage and conveying Said ensilage to the desired point.
While I have shown the preferred embodiment of my invention, it 'will be understood that minor changes in the details ofconstruction and arrangement of parts may be made within the scope of the appended claims without departing from the spirit of my invention or sacrificing anyof the advantages of the same.
What is claimed isz- 1. A device of the class described com rising a frame including upper longitu inal bars, transverse bars connected to the lower faces of the longitudinal bars, lower longitudinal bars positioned against the lower faces of the transverse bars, transverse brace members secured tothe lower faces of the lower bars and having their ends extending upwardly and secured to the transverse bars,
