Abstract
A stator assembly for a hydraulic torque converter comprises: a stator (10, 10'), the stator (10, 10') comprising a stator main body (11, 11') and multiple blades (12, 12') radially extending outwards from the periphery of the stator main body (11, 11'), the stator main body (11, 11') comprising a through-hole (13, 13'), and a second end (132, 132') of the through-hole (13, 13') comprising a first flange (15, 15'); a one-way clutch (20) comprising an outer ring (21), an inner ring (22), and a wheel stop spacer accommodating portion (23) provided between the outer ring (21) and the inner ring (22) and accommodating a wheel stop spacer (24), wherein the one-way clutch (20) is at least partially mounted in the through-hole (13, 13'), and is axially supported at least by the first flange (15, 15'); and a holding plate (30) mounted on the stator main body (11, 11') on a first end side of the through-hole (13, 13'). The multiple blades (12, 12') and the stator main body (11, 11') are integrally formed, and are bent such that radially outermost ends of the multiple blades (12, 12') are inclined from a plane perpendicular to a rotation axis of the stator (10, 10'). Radially outermost ends of adjacent blades among the multiple blades (12, 12') are separated from each other. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the stator assembly, a hydraulic torque converter comprising the stator assembly, and a corresponding motor vehicle.
