Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate majority of the attachment work of a door, by supporting a hanger for mounting the door on each of self-propelled carrier rotatably, ascendably and descendably. CONSTITUTION:A hanger 15 supporting a door 43, which has made a self-propelled movement and stopped at a predetermined position, waits the arrival of a body 2. When the body 2 is arrived at the predetermined position by a conveyor 1, the hanger 15 is locked by turning it 65 degrees through a motor-driven cylinder and a clutch of a running motor 7 is disengaged. When metal fittings 55 of the tip of the hanger is hit against the predetermined position of the body 2, a carrier 8 is pushed by the body 2 and advanced. Then the hanger 15 is made to ascend by starting the motor-driven cylinder 27 through operation of a button. When stop metal fittings 67 secured to the hanger 15 abut against the body 2, the motor-driven cylinder 27 is suspended. The door 43 is made to advance by the motor-driven cylinder and hinge metal fittings 68 are fixed to the door 43 with a bolt under the above-mentioned state. After completion of mounting, connection of the hanger 15 with the body 2 is released by revolving the hanger 15 in the reverse direction, then the hanger 15 is made to descend and the carrier 8 is made to retire by advancing the same.

At automobile factories, in order to make the entire car body the same paint color, the doors are attached to the body and then painted, and then the seats and other parts are installed inside the body. In that case, it is difficult to do interior work if the door is left alone, so the door is first removed and the interior work is done, and then the door is reinstalled. Such door installation and removal work is done on an assembly line. This is done during body transfer, but since the door is quite heavy, conventionally a carrier travel line is provided that moves parallel to the body while maintaining a fixed positional relationship on the body transfer line, and the rails provided on the carrier are A hanger on which the door is placed is introduced by a running roller, and the rail is raised and lowered by a carrier or a lid, and the hanger is manually rotated so that the door rail supporting the door on the hanger faces in a direction suitable for attaching and detaching the body. After completing the door installation/removal work, the carrier is manually moved backwards or moved to another location using a drive chain, but in the former case, the work efficiency is low, and even in the latter case, the hanger cannot be moved at any position. Since it cannot be raised or lowered, there are drawbacks such as the inability to promptly respond to changes in the door attachment/detachment position.

A lock lever 51 is pivotally supported at the lower part of the elevating frame 21, and when the hanger 15 is rotated, the lock lever 5
19 is configured so that the tip thereof engages in one of the grooves 50 by its own weight. To release the lock, pull the string 52. In addition to manual rotation, the hanger 15 can be rotated electrically by having an electric cylinder 53 horizontally rotatably supported on the lifting frame 21 as shown in FIG. You can also do it.

The synchronous traveling can also be performed by controlling the speed of the traveling motor 7. In this case, the door attachment/detachment section should be placed on a conveyor.
A well-known rotary potentiometer is installed that moves forward with the door and quickly retracts to the next ζ day position after the door installation/removal work is completed.
The rotary arm engages with the carrier 8 or the hanger 15 and is configured to rotate according to the relative position between the body 2 and the hanger 15, and by the output of the rotary potentiometer when the relative position deviates from the normal position. Travel motor 7
The speed control is performed. The retraction of the rotary potentiometer is controlled by the electric cylinder 27.53 and the hanger 1, which will be described later.
It can be operated by a computer together with the sequential operation of the electric cylinder 56 for door movement on the top 5, but individual operation by manual buttons is also possible. Rotary potentiometers are provided separately for the front door and rear door, and the synchronization position can be changed depending on the vehicle model by inputting the vehicle model code into the computer.

The door 43 is attached to a hanger 15 to automate the door attachment/detachment work.
When moving by power, horizontal support rails 57 and guide rails 58 are fixed to the lower end and middle part of the hanger rod 40, respectively, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, and the upper part of the support rails 57 is moved. The door 43 is placed on a resin receiver 62 of a movable frame 61 which is moved by rollers 59 and prevented from falling by fitting a roller 60 into a guide rail 58, and is provided between the movable frame 61 and the support rail 57. The movable frame 61 is moved forward and backward by the electric cylinder 56. In order to prevent the door 43 on the movable frame 61 from falling over, a horizontal rotation shaft 63 similar to that shown in FIG. 1 is provided at the upper end of the movable frame 61.
, the holding rod 64, the handle 65, the band 66°67, etc. are attached.

First, the hanger 15 supporting the door 43 moves by itself and stops at a predetermined position to wait for the arrival of the body 2. When the body 2 is brought to a predetermined position by the conveyor 1, the hanger 15 is rotated and locked by 65 degrees manually or by the electric cylinder 53, and the clutch of the travel motor 7 is disengaged. When the hanger end fitting 55 hits a predetermined location on the body 2, the carrier 8 is pushed by the body 2 and moves forward. Then, by operating a button, the electric cylinder 27 is activated to raise the hanger 15. When the stop metal fitting 67 fixed to the hanger 2 hits a predetermined location on the body 2 as it rises, the electric cylinder 27 stops. In this case, the spring 26 of the lifting frame 21 prevents the body 2 from being damaged. In this state, the door 43 is moved forward manually or by the electric cylinder 56, and the hinge fitting 68 is attached to the door 43 with bolts.

3b, the carrier 8 circulates freely along the long i-shaped conveyor 3a, and a lifter 69 loads and unloads the door onto the hanger. body 2
The carrier 8a moves at a constant speed in the direction of the arrow, and the carrier 8a starts from point A, travels in synchronization with the body 2 from point 0, and completes the work of attaching and detaching the front door 43a by the time it reaches point D. carrier 8a
Before the next carrier 8b reaches point D, the next carrier 8b starts at high speed from point B, and when carrier 8a7'J< D reaches point F, it reaches point F, which is before it, and from there it runs in synchronization with body 2. The work of attaching the rear door 43b is completed before reaching point G. After finishing the work of attaching and detaching the front door 43a at point D, the worker returns to point F and starts attaching and detaching the rear door 43b. The distance between D and F should be at least 3m for safety. G
After finishing the work of attaching and detaching the rear door 43b at point 0, the worker returns to point 0 and starts attaching and detaching the next door of the body 2. The walking time between G and 0 shall be included in the time required for attaching and detaching the front door 43a.
It is assumed that one worker is required to attach and detach the front and rear doors on one side of the body 2.

In the present invention, as described above, the hanger is lifted up and down and rotatably suspended on the carrier that moves along the door transport conveyor for attaching and detaching the door, so the position of attaching and detaching the door can be changed freely, saving labor and the work of attaching and detaching the door. It has the effect of improving efficiency, and it also makes it easier to carry the removed door and the installed door in. With the exception of some tasks such as attaching and detaching hinges, door attaching and detaching work can be automated for different vehicle models. It has a soothing effect.
