Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate small-size positioning by a method wherein a lens is mounted at the extreme inside of treble tubes composing a double eccentric tube and an optical fiber connected to the end surface is coupled with light from a laser chip mounted on a single tube at the extreme outside. CONSTITUTION:A lens 6 is mounted at the extreme inside of treble tubes 2, 3, 4 composing a double eccentric tube 1. An optical fiber is connected to the end surface 9 and the optical fiber is coupled with light from a laser chip 8 mounted on a single tube 5 at the extreme outside. The tube 1 and the tube 5 are rotated and slid each other for the positioning of the semiconductor laser chip, lens, and the optical fiber. In this way, small-size positioning can be facilitated.
