Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the stability of logic operation by a method wherein the first and the second constant current sources are provided by a grounded-base lateral type p-N-p element and a base is connected to the first constant current source and at least one piece of collector is connected to the second constant current source and an I<2>L is composed together with a grounded-emitter longitudinal type n-P-n. CONSTITUTION:A constant current source 4 composed of a grounded-base lateral type p-N-p element 5 is inserted between a power terminal 7 and the base of a grounded-emitter logitudinal type p-N-p element 5. The emitter of a lateral type p-N-p element 13 is connected to a teriminal 7 and the collector is connected to one collector of the element 5 and the base of an interface grounded- emitter n-P-n element. When the element 5 is on, Ic13=Ic5, and when the element 5 is off, Ic13=IB6 and an element 6 is turned on. Generally, Ic13 positively turns on the lement 6 when hFE5<<hFE6. Furthermore, as an I<2>L lateral type p-N-p can be used as the element 13, a very stable I<2>L is obtained. In this composition, the connection of the I<2>L and peripheral circuit can stably be executed and a variation in constant current is generated with mask dimension accuracy only. Therefore, very high-efficiency interface can be obtained.
