Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of data collection efficiency when the number of monitored stations is increased, by slitting each station to be monitored into a plurality of groups and combining a polling system with a contention system. CONSTITUTION:Monitor stations 32-1-32-n are split into districts A, B, C, and sub-center devices 31-1, 31-2 and 31-3 are provided for each district. When alarm information takes place to a station to be monitored at a specific area, the sub- center device of the district collects the said alarm information with polling. On the other hand, a central station 30 collects the alarm information collected to each sub-center with the contention system independently of the said polling system. Thus, the collecting speed can be increased in comparison with the data collection through sequential polling of the central station 30 for the monitor stations 32-1-32-n.
