Abstract
PURPOSE: To form wniformly filter layer having proper ventilation property within a mold by sucking filter material and water of water tank in a funnel type frame enclosing the mold, while ring type separators are moved eccentrically within the grooves at a permeable form provided with corrugation.
CONSTITUTION: Separators 9 are moved eccentrically, while the lower parts of the separators are moved eccentrically within the grooves of a permeable form 7. At the same time, water 2 of a water tank 1 together with the filter material is sucked intermittently in a funnel type frame by means of a suction pump 18, whereby the filter material adheres to the surface of the form 7 in paper making process. Filter layer having about 90% of the required thickness is formed on the surface of the form. After the separators 9 are risen to release from the mold 7, the suction pump 18 is operated not intermittently, but continuously.
