Abstract
PURPOSE: Title glass not containing sanitarily harmful lead oxide, which possesses high seal strength when sealing a Ni-Fe alloy, etc., prepared by using SiO2, Al2O3, B2O3, Na2O, K2O, Li2O, As2O3, Sb2O3, TiO2, V2O5, etc., in a specific wt. ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The sealing glass of the purpose is obtained by preparing a material by mixing, in wt%, SiO2 57W64; Al2O3 3.5W5; B2O3 17.5W22; Na2O 5W6.5; K2O 1.9W2.5; Li2O 2.5W3.5; As2O3 0W0.3; Sb2O3 0W0.3; and As2O3+Sb2O3 0W0.3; with TiO2 1.9W11; V2O5 0.5W7.5 or TiO2+V2O5 1.9W9.5 (whereby V2O5≥0.5); heat-melting the material to form a glass; and annealing the glass. The glass has a coefficient of linear expansion of 60×10-7W72×10-7/°C and a transition point of 410W500°C.
