Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a lighting of a lamp so that a lighting initial current will not be larger than a lighting constant current, by connecting condensers with both terminals of a lamp.
CONSTITUTION: Since both terminals of a lamp 2 are short-circuited by a contact switch 4 when the contact switch 4 is closed, no current flows to the lamp 2. When the contact switch 4 is opened, a d.c. power source 1 is supplied to the lamp 2 through a resistance 6 and a condenser 7. But a voltage supplied to the lamp 2 rises gradually due to a charging characteristic of the resistance 6 and condenser 7. And thus, a lighting initial current flowing to the lamp 2 can be equalized with a lighting constant current.
