Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a thin keyboard to facilitate the operation by eliminating corner parts of an enclosure round the keyboard to provide slopes. CONSTITUTION:A device main body 1 consists of a main body case 1a incorporating a floppy disk drive 2, a keyboard 3, and a control board and an open/ close case 1b having liquid crystal 4 in the display part, and they are coupled freely openably and closably. Slopes 5 are provided in peripheral parts of key tops on the keyboard 3. Thus, an operator easily operates any key without contact between his fingers and the enclosure at the time of key depression for keyboard input.

型キーボードを採用し、なおかつ打鍵しやすくした構造
に関する。また本構造を利用し装置本体を薄型化したも
のである。

を制限する事と斜面5を大きとる事によりキーボード3
の本体ケース1aにおける位置をさらに下方に移動させ
た、キーボード3が、本体ケース1aの上部表面より突
出しない位置に固定することができる。この様な構成に
することにより、第2図に示す如く、開閉ケース1bの
外周によるキーボード3のキートップと開閉ケース1b
表面との収納状態において接触を防ぐ枠6(第1図)を
取り除くことが出来るため、その分の厚みがなくなり情
報処理装置本体1を薄型化することができる。

画面をもつ開閉ケースにキートップを覆う周囲の枠がな
