Description
本明細書に開示された技術の実施形態1を、図1から図4を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態に係る蓄電モジュール10は、ケース11と、ケース11の内部に収容された蓄電素子12と、ケース11の内部に収容されると共に蓄電素子12の外面の一部に接触する冷却部材13と、を備える。以下の説明においては、X方向を右方とし、Y方向を前方とし、Z方向を上方として説明する。また、同一形状をなす複数の部材については、一部の部材について符号を付し、他の部材については符号を省略することがある。
図1に示すように、ケース11は、全体として略直方体形状をなしている。ケース11は、右方に開口すると共に右方から見て略長方形状をなす第1ケース14と、第1ケース14の右側に取り付けられるものであって、断面形状が略長方形状をなすと共に左方に開口する箱状の第2ケース15と、を備える。第2ケース15の左端縁は、第1ケース14の右端縁の形状に倣った形状を有している。
蓄電素子12は、一対の電池用ラミネートシートの間に図示しない蓄電要素を挟んで、電池用ラミネートシートの側縁を、熱溶着等の公知の手法により液密に接合してなる。図1に示すように、蓄電素子12の左端縁からは、金属箔状をなす正極端子24と、負極端子25とが、電池用ラミネートシートの内面と液密状態で、電池用ラミネートシートの内側から外側へと突出している。正極端子24と負極端子25とは前後方向に間隔を開けて並んで配されている。正極端子24及び負極端子25は、それぞれ、蓄電要素と電気的に接続されている。
冷却部材13は、液密に形成された封入体26の内部に冷媒27が封入されてなる。封入体26内に封入される冷媒27の量は、必要に応じて適宜に選択できる。本実施形態においては、冷媒27は、後述する吸収部材37に吸収されているため、冷媒27を示す符号は吸収部材37を指示するように記載している。冷媒27は、例えば、パーフルオロカーボン、ハイドロフルオロエーテル、ハイドロフルオロケトン、フッ素不活性液体、水、メタノール、エタノール等のアルコールからなる群から選ばれる1つ、又は複数を用いることができる。冷媒27は、絶縁性を有していてもよく、また、導電性を有していてもよい。冷却部材13の左右方向の長さ寸法は、蓄電素子12の左右方向の長さ寸法よりも大きく設定されている。
図3に示すように、封入体26は、前後方向に細長く延びた略長方形状をなす1枚のシート部材32を、前後方向の略中央位置を折り返して、シート部材32の側縁を、接着、溶着、溶接等の公知の手法により液密に接合してなる。
封入体26の内部には、吸収部材37が配されている。吸収部材37は略長方形のシート状をなしている。
本実施形態の作用、効果を説明する前に、図7を用いて、仮想的な技術に係る問題について説明する。なお、図7に表された部材に付された符号は、特に言及しない限り、実施形態に表された部材に付された符号と同じものと用いた。図7に示すように、蓄電モジュール10のケース11を水平に配置した場合、以下のような問題が生じる。
続いて、実施形態2に係る蓄電モジュールについて図5及び図6を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態においては、図6に示すように、シート部材32の内面のうち、シート部材32同士が接合される領域を除く全面に、吸収部材37が熱融着されている。
本明細書に開示された技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本明細書に開示された技術の技術的範囲に含まれる。

Claims (4)
- シート部材が液密に接合された封入体と、
前記封入体の内部に封入された冷媒と、
前記封入体内に配されて、前記冷媒を吸収する吸収部材と、を備え、
前記封入体には、気体状態の前記冷媒が凝縮する凝縮領域が設けられており、
前記凝縮領域においては、前記封入体の内面のうち、少なくとも鉛直方向の下側に位置する領域に前記吸収部材が貼着されており、
前記シート部材と前記吸収部材とは、前記吸収部材に離散的に形成された熱融着部において熱融着されている、冷却部材。 - 前記凝縮領域においては、前記封入体の内面のうち、鉛直方向の上側に位置する領域に前記吸収部材が貼着されている、請求項1に記載の冷却部材。
- 前記封入体の内面全体には、前記吸収部材が貼着されている、請求項1または請求項2に記載の冷却部材。
- 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の冷却部材と、
少なくとも外面の一部が前記冷却部材と接触する蓄電素子と、
を備えた蓄電モジュール。
