Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る車両用灯火器としてのヘッドライト10(以下、本実施形態に係るヘッドライト10ともいう。)を搭載した自動二輪車(車両)12の左側面図であり、図2は、自動二輪車12の正面図である。なお、特に説明しない限り、自動二輪車12のシート14に着座した乗員から見た方向を基準に、自動二輪車12の前後、左右及び上下の方向を説明する。また、車体の左右に1つずつ対称に設けられる機構乃至構成要素について、左のものの参照符号には「L」を付し、右のものの参照符号には「R」を付けて説明する。
次に、本実施形態に係るヘッドライト10の構成について、図3〜図11を参照しながら説明する。
以上のように構成される本実施形態に係るヘッドライト10において、第1光源128L、128R及び第3光源148L、148Rの光軸調整(エーミング)は、以下のように行われる。
以上説明したように、本実施形態に係るヘッドライト10によれば、ランプユニット104内の複数の光源が、ロービームの主光源としての第1光源128L、128Rと、主光源よりも弱い光量(低い照度)のロービームの副光源である第2光源142L、142Rと、ハイビーム用光源である第3光源148L、148Rとで構成されている。

Claims (4)
- 複数の光源(128L、128R、142L、142R)と、ハウジング(100)と、前記ハウジング(100)に支持されるレンズ(102)と、前記ハウジング(100)と前記レンズ(102)とによって形成されるランプユニット(104)内に配置され、傾動することにより光源(128L、128R)の光軸を調整するホルダ(122)とを備えた車両用灯火器(10)において、
前記ランプユニット(104)内に配置され、前記複数の光源(128L、128R、142L、142R)を前記レンズ(102)側から覆う導光部材(114)と、前記ランプユニット(104)内で前記導光部材(114)と前記複数の光源(128L、128R、142L、142R)との間に配置され、前記導光部材(114)の背面に支持される遮光体(112)とをさらに有し、
前記ホルダ(122)は、下端部(122a)と、前記下端部(122a)の上端から上方に延在する第1連結部(122b)と、前記第1連結部(122b)の上端から上方に延在する第2連結部(122c)と、前記第2連結部(122c)の上端から前記車両用灯火器(10)の前方に延在する上端部(122d)とを有し、
前記ハウジング(100)及び前記第2連結部(122c)には、前記車両用灯火器(10)の前後方向に支持部材(138L、138R)が貫通し、
前記複数の光源(128L、128R、142L、142R)は、前記下端部(122a)に支持される第1光源(128L、128R)と、前記上端部(122d)の近傍で、前記車両用灯火器(10)における前記ホルダ(122)以外の光軸調整が不能な部品である前記ハウジング(100)に独立して支持され、前記第1光源(128L、128R)よりも弱い光量の第2光源(142L、142R)とで構成され、
前記遮光体(112)には、前記第1光源(128L、128R)に対向する第1孔(116L、116R)と、前記第2光源(142L、142R)に対向する第2孔(118L、118R)とがそれぞれ形成され、
前記ホルダ(122)は、前記第2連結部(122c)と前記支持部材(138L、138R)との接続箇所を支点として、全体的に傾動することを特徴とする車両用灯火器(10)。 - 請求項1記載の車両用灯火器(10)において、
複数の前記第1光源(128L、128R)からなる第1光源群(128)と、複数の前記第2光源(142L、142R)からなる第2光源群(142)とが前記ランプユニット(104)内に配置され、
前記第1光源群(128)は、前記第1光源(128L、128R)毎にリフレクタ(130L、130R)を有し、
前記各リフレクタ(130L、130R)は、基板(124)に設けられることを特徴とする車両用灯火器(10)。 - 請求項1又は2記載の車両用灯火器(10)において、
前記第1光源(128L、128R)及び前記第2光源(142L、142R)は、ロービーム用光源であり、
前記ホルダ(122)には、ハイビーム用光源(148L、148R)が支持されていることを特徴とする車両用灯火器(10)。 - 請求項3記載の車両用灯火器(10)において、
前記第1光源(128L、128R)及び前記第2光源(142L、142R)は、前記ハイビーム用光源(148L、148R)を上下方向で挟むように前記ランプユニット(104)内に配置されていることを特徴とする車両用灯火器(10)。
