Description

The present invention relates to an absorbent article used for absorbing body fluids, such as sanitary napkins and incontinence pads.

Various sanitary napkins are known in which a pair of leak-proof grooves extending in the longitudinal direction are formed on both left and right side portions on the skin contact surface side (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). The leak-proof grooves formed in these napkins have a shape in which the central region in the longitudinal direction is curved inward in the width direction, or linear shapes parallel to each other.

Apart from these napkins, the applicant previously has a discontinuous crimping part formed by integrally compressing the topsheet and the absorber in the central region in the width direction of the excretory part facing part, And the absorbent article which has the junction part to which the surface sheet and the absorber were continuously joined to each of the both sides of a center area | region was proposed (refer patent document 3). Unlike the leakproof groove described in Patent Document 1 described above, this joint has a shape that curves outward in the width direction of the absorbent article. The said compression part is located between two junction parts of this curved shape. According to this absorbent article, it becomes difficult for the surface sheet to be detached, and liquid residue and liquid flow on the surface sheet can be prevented.

An object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article having further improved performance as compared with the above-described conventional absorbent articles.

The present invention is formed by leak-proof grooves extending in the longitudinal direction respectively formed on the left and right side portions on the skin contact surface side, and at least the surface sheet and the absorbent body are integrally crimped between the leak-proof grooves. An absorbent article having a plurality of linear crimping recesses,
Each of the leakage prevention grooves has a central curved groove curved in a convex shape toward the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent article, and a front groove and a rear groove respectively connected to the front and rear of the central curved groove,
Each said linear crimping | compression-bonding recessed part is the shape of the short line segment extended in the longitudinal direction of an absorbent article, Comprising: The depth is 40 to 95% of the thickness of an absorbent article, Between the said center curved groove, the said front The object is achieved by providing an absorbent article formed between the grooves and between the rear grooves.

According to the absorbent article of the present invention, it is difficult for the absorbent body positioned between the leak-proof grooves to sag, and the amount of liquid absorbed is increased. Moreover, although the absorption amount increases, the liquid spreading area at the time of liquid absorption is suppressed, and it is difficult to give the user an impression that the absorbent article is soiled with body fluid.

The present invention will be described below based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a sanitary napkin as an embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention. 2 is a plan view of the napkin shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the sanitary napkin 1 of the present embodiment has a vertically long shape, a top sheet 2 as a liquid-permeable surface layer, and a back surface as a liquid-impermeable back layer. The sheet 3 and the absorbent body 4 as a liquid retaining absorbent layer interposed between the top sheet 2 and the top sheet 3 are provided.

As shown in FIG. 3, the top sheet 2 covers the entire upper surface of the absorber 4, extends from the left and right edges of the absorber 4, and is wound on the lower surface side of the absorber 4. The surface sheet 2 wound around the lower surface side of the absorber 4 is joined to the back sheet 3 disposed on the lower surface side of the absorber 4.

The top sheet 2 can be made of the same material as a conventionally known one, and for example, a hydrophilic nonwoven fabric or an apertured film is used. The back sheet 3 is composed of, for example, a liquid-impermeable film sheet (preferably a water-vapor-permeable and liquid-impermeable film sheet). The absorbent body 4 is configured by, for example, a mixture of fluff pulp and superabsorbent polymer particles wrapped in tissue paper.

Waterproof sheets 7 are arranged on the left and right sides of the napkin 1. The waterproof sheet 7 covers the upper surface, the lower surface, and the side surfaces of the absorbent body 4 at the left and right side portions of the absorbent body 4. Under this state, the waterproof sheet 7 is entirely covered with the surface sheet 2. The waterproof sheet 7 is composed of a liquid-impermeable resin film, a paper laminated with a resin film, a spunbond / meltblown / spunbond nonwoven fabric (SMS nonwoven fabric), and the like.

As shown in FIG. 1, the napkin 1 has an excretory part facing part A, which is a part facing the excretion part of the wearer when worn, and adjacent to the excretory part facing part A and on the front and rear sides of the napkin 1. It is divided into the front part B and the rear part C which are located.

On the surface sheet side of the napkin 1, leakage preventing grooves 5 and 5 extending in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 are formed on the left and right sides, respectively. Each leak-proof groove 5 is formed by compacting and integrating the topsheet 2 and the absorber 4 from the topsheet side by pressing means such as embossing. Each leak-proof groove 5 has a substantially symmetric shape with respect to the vertical center line of the napkin 1. The leakage prevention grooves 5 are connected to each other at their front and rear ends, thereby forming a closed shape as a whole.

Each leakage prevention groove 5 has a portion located in the excretion portion facing portion A curved in a convex shape outward in the width direction of the napkin 1 (hereinafter, this portion is referred to as a central curved groove 5a). The front and rear of the central curved groove 5a extend in the longitudinal direction of the napkin to form a front groove 5b and a rear groove 5c, respectively. The central curved groove 5a and the leakage preventing groove 5 including the front groove 5b and the rear groove 5c extending from the front and rear thereof extend from the front part B to the rear part C of the napkin 1. The front groove 5 b is located in the front part B of the napkin 1. On the other hand, the rear groove 5 c is located in the rear portion C of the napkin 1.

The front groove 5b and the rear groove 5c are curved in a convex shape outward in the width direction of the napkin 1, similarly to the central curved groove 5a. As a result, each leakage preventing groove 5 has a front constricted portion 6a at the position of the connecting portion between the central curved groove 5a and the front groove 5b. In addition, a rear constricted portion 6b is provided at the position of the connecting portion between the central curved groove 5a and the rear groove 5c.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the napkin 1 has a plurality of linear crimping recesses 8 between the left and right leakage prevention grooves 5 and 5 on the skin contact surface side. The linear crimping recess 8 is formed by integrally crimping the topsheet 2 and the absorber 4. The linear crimping recess 8 has a short line shape extending in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. The linear crimping recesses 8 are formed intermittently at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. Further, the napkin 1 is formed in multiple rows at predetermined intervals in the width direction.

As shown in FIG. 1, the linear crimping recess 8 extends in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. As a result, the excreted liquid is guided along the linear crimping recess 8 and flows in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, thereby preventing liquid leakage from the side of the napkin 1. In addition, there is an advantage that the flexibility in the width direction of the napkin 1 is not impaired and the fitting property is enhanced. As described above, the linear crimping recess 8 has a short line shape. The length of this line segment is preferably 5 to 20 mm, particularly 5 to 10 mm at the bottom. In addition, the width is 0.2 to 2 mm, particularly 0.5 to 1.5 mm at the bottom, from the viewpoint of sufficiently fixing the linear crimping recess 8, the topsheet 2 is torn during the formation of the crimping recess 8. It is preferable from the viewpoint of preventing the occurrence and from the viewpoint of preventing an uncomfortable feeling during wearing.

The linear crimping recess 8 is formed between the left and right central curved grooves 5a, 5a. In addition, the linear crimp recess 8 is also formed between the left and right front grooves 5b and 5b and between the left and right rear grooves 5c and 5c. A plurality of linear crimping recesses 8 are intermittently formed at the position of the vertical center line of the napkin 1, and a pair is also formed at positions symmetrical with respect to the vertical center line. No other linear crimping recess is formed between the pair of linear crimping recesses 8.

Between the left and right central curved grooves 5a, 5a, two linear crimping recesses 8 are formed at the position of the longitudinal center line, and a pair is formed at positions symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center line. Between the left and right front grooves 5b, 5b, one linear crimping recess 8 is formed at the position of the longitudinal center line. The same applies to the left and right rear grooves 5c, 5c. As is clear from FIG. 1, the linear crimping recess 8 is formed only in the region between the left and right leakage prevention grooves 5, and is not formed outside each leakage prevention groove 5.

The role of the linear crimping recess 8 in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment is as follows. The linear crimping recess 8 is formed by embossing the absorbent body 4 together with the topsheet 2 from the topsheet facing surface side of the absorbent body 4. In the linear crimping recess 8, the topsheet 2 is pressed by a pressing die (not shown), and the entire thickness direction of the topsheet 2 is recessed into the absorber 4 as shown in FIG. 3. At the same time, the surface sheet 2 is bonded and fixed to the absorber 4 at the indented portion. Therefore, the surface sheet 2 is fixed to the absorber 4 in a state where tension is applied between the linear crimping recesses 8 and 8. When this tension is working, it becomes difficult for the absorber 4 to twist. Therefore, even if an external force is applied to the napkin 1 due to the wearer's movement, the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 is maintained well, and deformation of the napkin such as twisting hardly occurs.

In particular, in this embodiment, since the linear crimping recess 8 is formed between the leak-proof grooves 5, 5, the topsheet 2 is not only between the linear crimping recesses 8, 8 but also with the linear crimping recess 8. The absorber 4 is joined to the leak-proof groove 5 while being stretched. As a result, not only between the linear crimping recesses 8 and 8 but also between the linear crimping recess 8 and the leak-proof groove 5, the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 is improved, and the absorbent body 4 further increases. It becomes difficult to drool. In order to make this effect more prominent, it is preferable to form the leak-proof groove 5 first and then form the linear crimping recess 8 in the manufacture of the napkin 1. This is because the surface sheet 2 and the absorber 4 are joined by this operation while effectively applying tension to the surface sheet 2.

Since the leakproof grooves 5 and 5 are central curved grooves that are curved in a convex shape outward in the width direction of the absorbent article, as shown in FIG. There is also an additional effect that the absorber 4 located between 5 and 5 is thicker than the absorber 4 located outside the leak-proof groove 5. Thickening the absorber 4 positioned between the leak-proof grooves 5 and 5 is advantageous from the viewpoint of improving the adhesion between the napkin 1 and the wearer's body.

As illustrated in the examples to be described later, the effect of preventing the absorber 4 from twisting due to the formation of the linear crimping recess 8 is that the linear crimping recess 8 is formed over a wide range in the longitudinal direction of the absorber 4. As a result of the study by the present inventors, it has been found that the first performance can be performed. Therefore, in the napkin 1 of the present embodiment, the linear crimp recess 8 is formed at any position of the front part B, the excretory part facing part A, and the rear part C. What is particularly important is that the linear crimping recess 8 is formed in the excretory part facing part A. In particular, due to the synergistic action of the central curved groove 5a, which is the portion located in the excretory part facing part A of the leakage preventing groove 5, is curved outward in the width direction of the napkin 1, the kinking of the absorbent body 4 is effective. Is prevented. The reason is as follows.

When a compressive force from the lateral direction is applied to the mounted napkin 1, the compressive force is dispersed in the longitudinal direction of the groove by the arch shape of the central curved groove 5a. This makes it difficult for the compressive force to be transmitted to the inside of the absorber 4, and the absorber 4 positioned between the central curved grooves 5a and 5a is likely to rise toward the wearer's body as shown in FIG. In particular, when the constricted portions 9a and 9b are formed before and after the central curved groove 5a, the compressive force applied to the napkin 1 from the lateral direction is more effectively transmitted to the longitudinal direction of the central curved groove 5a. The absorber 4 positioned between the grooves 5a and 5a is more likely to rise toward the wearer's body. Due to this swell, a force is exerted on the top sheet 2 and the absorber 4 to stretch them outward in the width direction. Since the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 are fixed by the linear crimping recesses 8, the stretching force acts on the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 more effectively. As a result, the adhesiveness between the top sheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 is increased, and the absorbent body 4 is less likely to be damaged. When the leak-proof groove formed in the excretory part facing part A is a constricted shape curved toward the center in the width direction of the napkin, or when the leak-proof grooves are straight lines parallel to each other, When a compressive force from the lateral direction is applied to the napkin 1, it is not easy to reliably raise the absorbent body positioned between the leak-proof grooves toward the wearer's body. In particular, when the leak-proof groove has a constricted shape that is curved toward the center in the width direction of the napkin, the absorbent body positioned between the leak-proof grooves tends to rise toward the back sheet side.

According to the napkin 1 of this embodiment, as a result of the absorber 4 becoming difficult to sway, the liquid excreted on the top sheet 2 is quickly transferred to the absorber 4 and absorbed. Moreover, the amount of liquid absorption is also increased. It should be noted that, although the amount of absorption increases, the liquid spreading area during liquid absorption is suppressed. In general, it is considered that the higher the amount of absorption, the larger the liquid spreading area. Therefore, it was a surprising finding that the liquid spreading area was suppressed. The suppression of the liquid spreading area has an advantage that it is difficult to give the user an impression that the napkin is soiled with body fluid.

In order to make it difficult for the absorber 4 to be slid, it is important to improve the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorber 4. From this point of view, it is preferable that the surface sheet 2 and the absorbent body 4 are reliably joined by the linear crimping recess 8. Therefore, in this embodiment, it is preferable that the depth of the linear crimping recess 8 is 40 to 95%, particularly 50 to 90% of the thickness of the napkin 1.

In order to make the absorbent body 4 more difficult to sway, it is advantageous to increase the thickness of the napkin 1 to further enhance the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorbent body 4. In the constituent members of the napkin 1, it is the absorber 4 that contributes most to the thickness. Therefore, in order to make the napkin 1 thick, it is effective to increase the basis weight of the absorber 4. From these viewpoints, the thickness of the napkin 1 is preferably 5 to 15 mm, particularly preferably 7 to 10 mm. The basis weight of the absorber 4 is preferably 300 to 600 g / m 2 , particularly preferably 400 to 500 g / m 2 .

In order to form the linear crimping recess 8, for example, a pressing mold having a rectangular cross section may be used in a heated state and pressed from the top sheet side. As a result, heat fusion between the constituent fibers of the top sheet 2 and the absorber 4 occurs, and both are joined. Instead of this pressing die, a pin-shaped pressing die (also called pin embossing) having a cross section (for example, a circle or a regular polygon) having no anisotropy or small anisotropy may be used. In this case, a plurality of pin embosses are pressed from the top sheet side in a state of being arranged in a straight line. Alternatively, one pin emboss may be used and pressed while shifting the position on a straight line. Even when one or a plurality of pin embosses are used, the linear crimping recess 8 formed in this way is a dot-like recess in which the top sheet and the absorbent body are integrally crimped in a dot shape, It consists of a group of recesses formed substantially in a line. In this case, the interval between adjacent dot-shaped recesses is short, specifically about 0.5 to 5 mm. The use of pin embossing has an advantage that the topsheet 2 is less likely to be broken even when the linear crimp recess 8 is formed deeper than when a rectangular pressing die is used. In particular, it is preferable that the dot-shaped concave portions be adjacent to each other at an interval of 80 to 150% of the length in the longitudinal direction of the pin emboss from the viewpoint of achieving both the appearance of the napkin and the above effect. Here, the said space | interval means the distance of the edge parts of adjacent pin embossing, and is not the distance (pitch) between the centers of pin embossing.

The length of the linear crimping recess 8 is as described above, but the pitch P L (see FIG. 4) of the linear crimping recesses 8 adjacent in the longitudinal direction is 5 to 50 mm, particularly 5 to 30 mm. This is preferable in that the whole napkin can be easily bent, thereby making it easier to fit the napkin to the body. On the other hand, the pitch P W (see FIG. 4) of the linear crimping recesses 8 in the width direction of the napkin 1 is 5 to 30 mm, particularly 5 to 20 mm. It is preferable in that the swaying of the absorbent body 4 is less likely to occur, and rigidity that causes discomfort to the wearer is less likely to occur.

Area 1 to 20 mm 2 in each linear crimp recess 8, in particular it is 5 to 10 mm 2 becomes the top sheet 2 easily and absorber 4 more is, that according of the absorbent core 4 is less likely even occur To preferred. The ratio of the total area of the linear crimping recesses 8 to the area on the skin contact surface side of the absorbent body 4 is a low value of 0.01 to 2.0%, particularly 0.05 to 1.0%. It is preferable from the viewpoint that the rigidity of the absorbent body 4 can be prevented from excessively increasing.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a second groove 9 extending in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1 is formed outside each leakage prevention groove 5. The second groove 9 is slightly curved toward the inner side in the width direction of the napkin 1 or is substantially linear. The second groove 9 is formed by pressing the top sheet 2, the waterproof sheet 7, and the absorbent body 4 from the skin contact surface side of the napkin 1. The length of the second groove 9 is substantially the same as the length of the leak-proof groove 5. By forming the second groove 9 outside the leakage preventing groove 5, when a compressive force is applied from the lateral direction to the napkin 1, the compressive force is first caused by the second groove 9 in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. To be distributed. The distributed compressive force is further dispersed in the longitudinal direction by the leak-proof groove 5 located in the second groove 9, particularly the central curved groove 5a. As a result, the space between the leak-proof grooves 5 is successfully raised toward the wearer's body, and the adhesion between the topsheet 2 and the absorber 4 is further improved. As a result, the action of the linear pressure-bonding concave portion 8 becomes more remarkable, and the occurrence of the absorber 4 can be more effectively prevented. Further, even when the compressive force applied to the napkin 1 from the lateral direction is greatly different between right and left, the space between the leak-proof grooves 5 is caused by the effect of dispersing the compressive force by the two grooves, the second groove 9 and the leak-proof groove 5. It swells well toward the wearer's body.

The napkin 1 according to the present embodiment has a virtual folding line S1 (see FIG. 2) connecting the opposite front constricted portions 6a and a virtual folding line S2 (refer to FIG. 2) connecting the opposed rear constricted portions 6b in a state before use. 2), and is in a state shown in FIG. 6, for example. By folding the napkin 1 at the positions of the constricted portions 6a and 6b, the positions of the constricted portions 6a and 6b and the virtual folding lines S1 and S2 coincide with each other. When a compression force is applied, the gaps 6a and 6b are easily started from the constricted portions 6a and 6b, and particularly between the central curved grooves 5a.

In a conventional napkin that is individually wrapped in a folded state, wrinkles occur in the folded portion due to long-term storage in the folded state. It remains even in a state where it is taken out from the container and used. This ridge generally has a shape extending in the width direction of the napkin. Therefore, if the liquid is excreted during the wearing of the napkin, the liquid tends to flow along the ridge and causes side leakage. On the other hand, according to the napkin of this embodiment, since the absorber 4 between the leak-proof grooves 5 rises as described above, the absorber 4 and the top sheet 2 are stretched outward in the width direction due to this. As a result, the wrinkles disappear substantially. Therefore, unlike the conventional napkin, in the napkin of this embodiment, it is difficult for the liquid to leak from the portion along the folding line.

From the viewpoint of further improving the effect of eliminating the wrinkles, it is preferable that the linear crimp recesses 8 are not formed at the positions of the virtual folding lines S1 and S2. Furthermore, it is preferable from the point which reduces the generation | occurrence | production of wrinkles that the edge part of the linear crimping | compression-bonding recessed part 8 exists in the vicinity of the position of virtual folding line S1, S2.

As mentioned above, although this invention was demonstrated based on the preferable embodiment, this invention is not restrict | limited to the said embodiment. For example, the arrangement pattern of the linear crimping recesses 8 is not limited to that of the above embodiment, and the pattern shown in FIG. In FIG. 7A, a plurality of linear crimping recesses 8 are arranged at regular intervals only at the position of the vertical center line of the napkin 1. The linear crimping recess 8 is arranged from the front part to the rear part of the napkin 1.

Examples of the arrangement pattern of the linear crimping recesses 8 include those shown in FIG. The arrangement pattern of FIG. 7B is a combination of the arrangement pattern shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and the arrangement pattern shown in FIG. In FIG. 7 (b), a plurality of linear crimping recesses 8 are arranged at regular intervals at the position of the vertical center line of the napkin 1. In addition to this, a pair of linear crimping recesses 8 are formed at positions symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center line in the excretory part facing part.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, although each leak-proof groove 5 was mutually connected with the edge part of those front grooves 5b, and the edge part of the back groove | channel 5c, it replaced with this, the edge part of the front groove | channel 5b, or the back groove | channel 5c. Either one of the end portions may not be connected, or neither the end portion of the front groove 5b nor the end portion of the rear groove 5c may be connected.

Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the front groove | channel 5b and the back groove | channel 5c curved in the convex shape toward the width direction outer side of the napkin 1 similarly to the center curved groove 5a, it replaces with this and the front groove | channel 5b and Any one of the rear grooves 5c may not be curved in a convex shape toward the outside in the width direction. Or both the front groove | channel 5b and the back groove | channel 5c do not need to be curving convexly toward width direction outward.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to examples. However, the scope of the present invention is not limited to such examples.

[Example 1]
The sanitary napkin shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 was produced using the following members.
-Top sheet: An air-through nonwoven fabric having a basis weight of 25 g / m 2 made of a core-sheath type composite fiber (2.2 dtex × 51 mm) whose core is polyethylene terephthalate and whose sheath is made of polyethylene is subjected to pore opening treatment.
-Back sheet: A film made of polyethylene having a basis weight of 27 g / m 2 .
Absorbent: A fluff pulp pile (basis weight 500 g / m 2 ) wrapped with tissue paper having a basis weight of 15 g / m 2 .
Waterproof sheet: a film made of polyethylene having a basis weight of 25 g / m 2 .

The leak-proof groove 5 and the second groove 9 were formed in the shapes shown in FIGS. Hot embossing was used for the formation. Each linear crimping recess was formed using three pin embossments with a diameter of 1.5 mm arranged in a straight line at a pitch of 2 mm. The length of each linear crimping recess was 8.5 mm and the width was 1 mm. The pitch P L (see FIG. 4) of the linear crimping recesses adjacent in the longitudinal direction was 25 mm, and the pitch P W (see FIG. 4) of the linear crimping recesses in the width direction was 25 mm. The ratio of the total area of the linear crimping recesses to the area of the absorbent body on the skin contact surface side was 0.5%. The thickness of the napkin at the center in the width direction and the longitudinal direction was 8.5 mm, and the depth of the linear crimp recess was 90% of the napkin thickness.

The surface sheet of the napkin thus obtained was colored in a rectangular shape with a length of 60 mm and a width of 25 mm. Next, this napkin was attached to a walking female model and allowed to walk for 1 minute. Subsequently, 2 g of horse blood sold by Japan Biotest Laboratories was injected into the napkin and allowed to walk for 3 minutes. After repeating 5 g of horse blood injection and 3 minutes of walking for a total of 5 times (total horse blood injection amount is 10 g), remove the napkin from the model, and use the image analysis device for the previously colored rectangular area Measured. And the twist rate was measured from the following formula. The results are shown in Table 1. The warp rate means that the smaller the value, the harder the warp occurs.
Shaking rate = {rectangular area before walking motion (= 1500 cm 2 ) −rectangular area after injection of 10 g of horse blood} / rectangular area before walking motion (= 1500 cm 2 ) × 100

Separately from the above-mentioned dripping rate, the spread area of the liquid was measured. A total of 10 g of horse blood was injected in the same procedure as the above-described dripping rate except that the napkin was not colored in a rectangular shape. Thereafter, the napkin was removed from the model, and the spread area of horse blood on the surface sheet side of the napkin was measured using an image analyzer. The results are shown in Table 1.

[Example 2]
A napkin was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the linear crimp recess was formed with the arrangement pattern shown in FIG. The pitch P L (see FIG. 4) between the linear crimping recesses adjacent in the longitudinal direction was 25 mm. The ratio of the total area of the linear crimping depressions was 0.4%. The obtained napkin was measured in the same manner as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 1.

[Comparative Example 1]

As is clear from the results shown in Table 1, it can be seen that the napkin of the example is less likely to sway than the napkin of the comparative example, and the liquid spreading area is reduced when the same amount of liquid is absorbed. .
