Abstract
【解決手段】光学ユニット40は、光源から出射した光を反射しながら回転軸Rを中心に一方向に回転する回転リフレクタ42を備える。回転リフレクタ42は、回転しながら反射した光源の光が所望の配光パターンを形成するように複数の反射面42a,42bが設けられており、反射面は、配光パターンの第1の部分領域R1を形成する第1の反射面42aと、第1の部分領域R1と異なる、配光パターンの第2の部分領域R2を形成する第2の反射面42bと、有する。

Description
はじめに、本実施の形態に係る光学ユニットの基本構成や基本動作について参考例に基づいて説明する。図1は、参考例に係る車両用前照灯の水平断面図である。車両用前照灯10は、自動車の前端部の右側に搭載される右側前照灯であり、左側に搭載される前照灯と左右対称である以外は同じ構造である。そのため、以下では、右側の車両用前照灯10について詳述し、左側の車両用前照灯については説明を省略する。
上述の参考例に係るランプユニット20が備える回転リフレクタ26は、回転部26bの外周に同一形状のブレード26aが3枚設けられている。したがって、回転リフレクタ26は、120度回転することで、LED28の光によって前方を一方向(水平方向)に1回走査できるように構成されている。換言すると、回転リフレクタ26が一回転すると、LED28の光によって前方の同じ領域を3回走査することになる。したがって、LED28の点消灯を制御することで、図6(c)、図6(e)に示すような、照射領域と非照射領域とが走査方向に交互に並んだハイビーム用配光パターンを形成することはできるが、走査方向と交差する方向(直交する方向)に照射領域と非照射領域とが並んだ配光パターンを形成することはできない。
図9(a)、図9(b)は、第2の実施の形態に係る光学ユニットによる配光パターンの形成を説明するための模式図である。
Claims (5)
- 光学ユニットであって、
光源から出射した光を反射しながら回転軸を中心に一方向に回転する回転リフレクタを備え、
前記回転リフレクタは、
回転しながら反射した光源の光が所望の配光パターンを形成するように複数の反射面が設けられており、
前記反射面は、
前記配光パターンの第1の部分領域を形成する第1の反射面と、
前記第1の部分領域と異なる、前記配光パターンの第2の部分領域を形成する第2の反射面と、
有することを特徴とする光学ユニット。 - 前記回転リフレクタは、前記第1の反射面の数と前記第2の反射面の数とが同じであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記回転リフレクタは、4枚以上の前記反射面が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記回転リフレクタは、前記第1の反射面と前記第2の反射面とが周方向に交互に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の光学ユニット。
- 前記回転リフレクタは、前記反射面として機能するブレードが回転軸の周囲に設けられており、
前記ブレードは、回転軸を中心とする周方向に向かうにつれて、光軸と反射面とが成す角が変化する形状を有している、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の光学ユニット。
