Description

The present invention relates to a joinery for fixing glass without using a strip.

In conventional joinery, a sash (middle slat) is used between the top and bottom stakes of a frame made up of an upper sill, a lower sill, a left frame (left port), and a stone frame (starboard). There is one in which glass is fixed by an intermediate beam (see Patent Document 1).

Japanese Patent Publication No.49-28371

The joinery described in Patent Document 1 uses a belt (middle rail) to fix the glass, but if the glass can be fixed without using the belt (middle rail), the number of parts is reduced, the weight is reduced, Manufacturing man-hours can be reduced, that is, costs can be reduced.
From the above, it is a problem to provide a joinery for fixing glass without using a strip (medium bar).

In order to solve the above problems, a joinery according to the present invention has the following means.

In a joinery in which glass and panels are fixed in the upper and lower bars and the left and right frames, the glass and the panel are fixed by a groove provided in the panel, and the portion fixed by the glass and the groove of the panel is substantially convex. Joinery characterized by that.

Since the joinery according to the present invention does not use a strip, the number of parts can be reduced and the weight can be reduced.
Thereby, since this joinery can reduce wear of the metal fitting which moves joinery, durability can be improved. While the joinery provided with the strips receives the weight of the glass with the dowels of the strips, the present joinery receives the weight of the glass with the entire panel, so that the durability can be enhanced in this respect as well.
Since the present joinery does not require the production of a strip that requires time for installing the dowels or the hole that engages the dowels of the strip, the strength of the frame can be increased.
The member repeats different shrinkage in the width direction (left-right direction seen from the front), length direction (up-down direction seen from the front), and thickness direction (depth direction seen from the front) due to changes in temperature and humidity. If points are not taken into account, it will lead to problems such as warping, but this fixture can not only reduce these risks by reducing the number of parts, but also increase the degree of design freedom.
Of course, this joinery can reduce man-hours, that is, improve workability and reduce costs by reducing the number of parts.
In addition, since this joinery does not use a strip, not only can the brightness be secured by widening the glass surface, but it can also be solved that dust easily collects on the top of the strip.
In addition, it has become possible to reduce troublesome work such as labor and procurement of parts and the like that reduce the difference in color and pattern of each member on the face face required for joinery as much as possible without a belt.

The joinery 10 is characterized in that the glass 8 is fixed without using the strip 7.
In addition, the upper rail 3, the lower rail 4, the left frame 5, and the right frame 6 are not chamfered in order to have a simple structure.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the panel 9 is provided with a groove 9 </ b> A on the ceiling surface, and the groove 9 </ b> A has a width capable of fixing the glass 8. The width here is the length from the front to the back as described above. Accordingly, the glass 8 is fixed by the upper bar 3, the panel 9 (groove 9 </ b> A), the left frame 5, and the right frame 6.

As shown in FIG. 3, the thickness D2 of the panel 9 is about three times the thickness D1 of the glass 8. The thickness here is the length between the front and the back. The thickness D3 from the front surface of the panel 9 to the front surface of the glass 8, the thickness D1 of the glass 8, and the thickness D4 from the rear surface of the glass 8 to the rear surface of the panel 9 are substantially the same.
As a most preferable example, the thickness D3 from the front surface of the panel 9 to the front surface of the glass 8 is 5 mm, the thickness D1 of the glass 8 is 4 mm, and the thickness D4 from the rear surface of the glass 8 to the rear surface of the panel 9 is 5 mm. As a result, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the portion fixed by the groove 9 </ b> A of the glass 8 and the panel 9 has a substantially convex shape in the vertical sectional view of the side surface.
