Abstract
Description
・静止フェーズ(車両が動いていないフェーズ)では、両種類のエンジンを停止させる。
・始動時には、電気モータによって車両を高速度(25km/時または30km/時)になるまで車両を駆動させる。
・高速度に達すると、内燃エンジンに切り替わる。
・高加速度を得たい場合には、両種のエンジンを同時に始動させることにより、同程度の出力を有するエンジンと同等の加速度、またはより高出力のエンジンに相当する加速度を得ることができる。
・さらに、必要に応じ、減速時や制動フェーズでは、運動エネルギーがバッテリの充電に利用される。
本発明において使用する潤滑剤組成物は、少なくとも1種のポリアルキレングリコール(PAG)を含む。このようなポリアルキレングリコールは、エチレンオキシド類とプロピレンオキシド類との共重合、又はプロピレンオキシド類の単独重合によって得られる。プロピレンオキシド単位のみを単独重合させることによって得られるポリアルキレングリコールは、ポリプロピレングリコールと称される。
本発明にかかる潤滑剤組成物は、ポリアルキレングリコールを、該潤滑剤組成物の総質量に対し、質量%で、0.1〜20%含有していてもよく、好ましくは0.2〜15%、より好ましくは0.5〜10%、さらに好ましくは1〜5%、なお好ましくは2〜4%含有する。
本発明において使用する潤滑剤組成物は、少なくとも1種の基油を含有している。潤滑剤組成物の総質量に対する基油の含有量は、質量%で、一般的条件としては50〜90%であってもよく、60〜85%であることが好ましく、65〜80%であることがより好ましく、70〜75%であることがさらに好ましい。
前記潤滑剤組成物は、例えば、高分子エステル;オレフィンコポリマー(OCP);スチレン、ブタジエンまたはイソプレンのホモポリマー、またはこれらの2以上のコポリマー;ポリメタクリレート(PMA)などの、粘度指数向上ポリマー(VI向上剤)を含んでもよい。
ストップアンドスタートシステムを備えたエンジンの軸受について、その摩耗が悪化した状態を、150時間にわたって12000回の停止/始動サイクルを連続的に実行する試験によりシミュレートした。具体的には
1)エンジンの始動、
2)アイドリング速度での10秒間の稼働、ついで
3)エンジンの停止、
の1から3を繰り返した。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1種の基油と、エチレンオキシド類とプロピレンオキシド類との共重合又はプロピレンオキシド類の単独重合によって得られる少なくとも1種のポリアルキレングリコールとを含む潤滑剤組成物の、ハイブリッドエンジンおよび/またはマイクロハイブリッドエンジンを搭載した車両の内燃エンジンの軸受の摩耗を減少させ、かつ該内燃エンジンの金属表面および/またはポリマー表面および/またはアモルファスカーボン表面を潤滑するための使用。
- 請求項1に記載の使用において、ハイブリッドエンジンを搭載した車両に、スターターオルタネータまたはヘビーデューティスタータが備えられている、使用。
- 請求項1または2に記載の使用において、内燃エンジンのコンロッド軸受の摩耗を減少させるための使用。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、内燃エンジンの軸受の寿命を増加させるため(特に、内燃エンジンのコンロッド軸受の寿命を増加させるため)の使用。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、内燃エンジンの軸受の交換間隔を延長させるため(特に、内燃エンジンのコンロッド軸受の交換間隔を延長させるため)の使用。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、潤滑剤組成物が、ポリアルキレングリコールを、該潤滑剤組成物の総質量に対し、質量%で、0.1〜20%含有する(好ましくは0.2〜15%、より好ましくは0.5〜10%、さらに好ましくは1〜5%、なお好ましくは2〜4%含有する)、使用。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、ポリアルキレングリコールが、プロピレンオキシド類の単独重合に由来する、使用。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、ポリアルキレングリコールが、エチレンオキシドとプロピレンオキシドとの共重合に由来し、プロピレンオキシドを、該ポリアルキレングリコールの総質量に対し、質量%で、60%以上有する、使用。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、金属表面が合金からなる、使用。
- 請求項9に記載の使用において、前記合金が鋼である、使用。
- 請求項9に記載の使用において、前記合金が、基元素として、錫(Sn)、鉛(Pb)、銅(Cu)、アルミニウム(Al)、カドミウム(Cd)、銀(Ag)または亜鉛(Zn)を含む、使用。
- 請求項11に記載の使用において、前記合金が、鉛(Pb)および銅(Cu)を含む、使用。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、ポリマー表面がポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、使用。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の使用において、潤滑剤組成物の100℃における動粘度が、ASTM D445規格に準拠した測定値で、5.6〜12.5cStである、使用。
