Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft center orthogonal type supporting device for a exhaust pipe capable of using in a relatively narrow space and obtaining an optimum shape satisfying durability and characteristics. SOLUTION: A first holding part 1 having a through hole 1a into which a car body side supporting material is inserted and a second holding part 2 having a through hole 2a into which an exhaust pipe side supporting material is inserted, made of a rubber elastic material are continuously arranged so that a space 3 is formed with right and left arm parts 4, 4 and both axis centers are made orthogonal. The arm parts 4, 4 are extended from the both ends of the first holding part 1 in a bent shape so as to envelope the side of the second holding part 2 through the space 3, connected in almost a ring shape, and the second holding part 2 is brought into contact with a connecting part 5 of the arm parts 4, 4 facing the holding part 1, and installed in the ring-shaped inner part.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a supporting device for supporting an exhaust pipe on a vehicle body in a vibration-proof manner, a through hole into which a supporting material on the vehicle body side is inserted is made of a rubber elastic body. The first holding portion having the first holding portion and the second holding portion having a through hole into which the support material on the exhaust pipe side is inserted are connected by left and right arm portions with their axes parallel to each other and vertically spaced. In general, a generally oval ring is used (for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-117237). However, due to problems such as the vehicle body structure and the mounting space, there are cases where the above-mentioned substantially elliptical and axially parallel type support device cannot be used.

[0003] Therefore, due to structural problems such as mounting space, a holding portion having a through hole through which a support member on the vehicle body side is inserted and a holding portion having a through hole through which a support member on the exhaust pipe side is inserted. In addition, there has been proposed a support device in which the axial centers of both through holes are arranged in an orthogonal direction (for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 2-1).

[0004] The present applicant has also started research and development of a support device of an axis center orthogonal type that can be used in a relatively small space. As an example, a first holding portion (101) having a through hole (101a) through which a support material on the vehicle body side is inserted, and a through hole through which a support material on the exhaust pipe side is inserted, as shown in FIG. (102
a) with the second holding portion (102) having the gap (1).
The use of a support device (110) arranged so that the axes are perpendicular to each other via the third line was studied.

[0005] Even in the case of such a supporting device, it is desired to maintain the same performance as that of the above-mentioned elliptical type device in terms of vibration isolation characteristics and durability.

4) is short and connected to both sides of the holding portion (102).
Therefore, in a state in which the exhaust pipe is suspended and supported with the second holding portion (102) on the lower side, the spring constant in the vertical direction increases, and even if a certain degree of durability is obtained, vibration and noise are reduced. It is not satisfactory in terms of characteristics such as effects. In addition, the strain rate in the displaced state increases, and there is room for improvement in durability.

[0007] In view of the above, the present invention has made further studies on the shape and shape of the support device of the axis orthogonal type in a displaced state, and as a result, the support device can be used in a relatively narrow space and is durable. The present invention has been made based on the finding of an optimum shape that can sufficiently satisfy the performance and the anti-vibration characteristics.

According to the present invention, there is provided an exhaust pipe supporting apparatus for solving the above-mentioned problems, comprising: a holding portion made of a rubber elastic body and having a through-hole into which a supporting material on a vehicle body side is inserted; And a holding portion having a through hole into which the support material is inserted,
An exhaust pipe support device in which a pair of left and right arms has an air gap and their axial centers are connected so as to be orthogonal to each other, wherein the pair of arms are arranged in an axial direction of the one holding portion. And extends in a curved shape so as to surround the side of the other holding portion from both end portions thereof and is connected to form a substantially ring shape, and the other holding portion faces the one holding portion. It is characterized in that it is provided on the ring-shaped inner portion so as to be connected to the connecting portion side of the both arm portions.

According to this exhaust pipe support device, both arms connecting one holding portion and the other holding portion are curved and long so as to surround the side of the other holding portion. Accordingly, the spring constant in the distance direction between the one holding portion and the other holding portion, that is, the spring constant in the vertical direction in a state in which the exhaust pipe is suspended and supported, can be reduced, thereby meeting the demands in use. The obtained anti-vibration characteristics can be obtained. Moreover,
Due to the above-described unique form, even in a relatively large displacement state, the strain rate and stress generated in the arm and the like are reduced, and the durability can be improved accordingly.

In the exhaust pipe support device, a gap between the other holding portion and the pair of arms surrounding the side thereof surrounds at least a half or more of the other holding portion. It is preferable that the connecting portion between the other holding portion and the both arm portions has a constricted shape. As a result, the spring constant can be reduced as described above, and the distortion rate in the displaced state can be reduced.

In use in the above-mentioned suspended and supported state, the lower second holding portion (2) is moved in the far and near directions with respect to the first holding portion (1) due to a hanging load or a vertical vibration load. (Up and down), but both holding parts (1) (2)
Even if the distance between the axis centers of the two is relatively small, the two arms (4) and (4) connecting the two holding parts (1) and (2) become curved and long as described above. Therefore, the vertical spring constant is smaller than that of the embodiment of FIG.
Excellent vibration and noise reduction effect, ensuring required characteristics. In addition, because of the configuration of the support device (10) described above, that is, the configuration in which the second holding portion (2) is arranged in the ring-shaped inner portion of the both arms (4) and (4), The strain rate and stress are also reduced. That is, durability can be improved.

Note that the spring constant is calculated by comparing the load-
It was calculated from the deflection characteristic based on the range of 4 to 6 mm where the characteristic was linear. The distortion rate affecting the durability was calculated from the analysis results for the portions A and B in FIGS. 1 and 5. 7 show the front and side halves, respectively.

As described above, the product of the example of the present invention has a lower spring constant than the product of the comparative example, and at the same displacement, the strain rate is about 1/2. It is advantageous in durability, and has almost the same strain rate and the same durability even under the same load.
