- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ナトリウム/チタンモル比が0.7以下で、イオン交換容量が3.0m当量 /g以上で、pH11の2.0M−NaClの水溶液中で測定した放射性ストロ ンチウムの分配係数が10,000ml/g以上である粒径が0.1〜2mmの 基本的に顆粒からなるチタン酸ナトリウムイオン交換体。 2.交換容量が4.0m当量/g以上で、pH11の2.0M−NaClの水溶 液中で測定したストロンチウムの分配係数が20,000ml/g以上である請 求項1に記載のイオン交換体。 3.NaをSrに換える選択係数が20,000以上である請求項1に記載のイ オン交換体。 4.顆粒の粒径が0.3〜0.85mmである請求項1に記載のイオン交換体。 5.ナトリウム/チタンモル比が0.6以下で、選択係数が4.5m当量/g以 上で、pH11の2.0M−NaClの水溶液中で測定した分配係数が40,0 00ml/g以上である請求項1に記載のイオン交換体。 6.下記1)〜5)の段階からなる交換可能なカチオンを含むチタネートイオン 交換体の製造方法: 1)固体含水酸化チタンと、交換可能なカチオンをスラリー1リットル当たり3 .5モル以上の濃度で含むアルカリ剤と、液体とを含むスラリーを作り、 2)このスラリー中のアルカリ剤と酸化チタンとを高温で反応させてチタネート 生成物を生成し、 3)チタネート生成物を含む固体画分を静置し、 4)固体画分を分離し、 5)固体画分から粒状チタネート生成物を回収する。 7.スラリー中のチタン濃度がスラリーlリットル当たり1.5モル以上である 請求項6に記載の方法。 8.交換可能なイオンの濃度がスラリー1リットル当たり5モル以上で、チタン 濃度がスラリー1リットル当たり2モル以上である請求項6に記載の方法。 9.アルカリ剤がアルカリ金属の水酸化物および水酸化アンモニウムからなる群 の中から選択される請求項6に記載の方法。 10.上記液体が低級アルカノールおよび低級水溶性アルカノールからなる群の 中から選択される請求項6に記載の方法。 11.上記液体がエタノールまたは水溶性エタノールである請求項10に記載の 方法。 12.アルカリ剤がアルカリ金属の水酸化物であり、チタンに対するアルカリ金 属のモル比が4以下になるように含水酸化チタンとアルカリ金属の水酸化物とを 混合する請求項6に記載の方法。 13.含水酸化チタンとアルカリ金属の水酸化物とを2以下のモル比で混合する 請求項12に記載の方法。 14.上記液体の沸点で酸化チタンとアルカリ剤とを反応させる請求項6に記載 の方法。 15.スラリーが下記化学組成を有する請求項6に記載の方法: 5〜10重量%の水 40〜50重量%のエタノール 20〜30重量%の水酸化チタンおよび 15〜30重量%の水酸化ナトリウム。 16.固体含水酸化チタンを上記溶媒に添加し、次いでアルカリ剤を添加してス ラリーを生成する請求項6に記載の方法。 17.アルカリ剤がアルカリ金属の水酸化物であり、少なくとも一部が溶媒層に 溶解している固体ペレット状で添加される請求項16に記載の方法。 18.アルカリ剤を所定の時間内で添加する請求項17に記載の方法。 19.アルカリ金属の水酸化物の溶解熱でスラリーを加熱する請求項17に記載 の方法。 20.固体含水酸化チタンと、上記液体と、アルカリ剤の溶液とを混合してスラ リーを生成する請求項6に記載の方法。 21.アルカリ剤の溶液がスラリーとして溶媒と同じ液体を含む請求項20に記 載の方法。 22.スラリーに冷水を加えてチタネート生成物を含む固体画分を静置する請求 項6に記載の方法。 23.水温が0℃〜約25℃である請求項22に記載の方法。 24.加圧濾過器を用いてスラリーを濾過してチタネート生成物を回収し、チタ ネート濾過ケークを生成する請求項6に記載の方法。 25.下記7)〜11)の段階をさらに有する請求項6に記載の方法: 7)濾過ケークを洗浄してアルカリを除去し、 8)洗浄した濾過ケークを乾燥させて恒量状態にし、 9)乾燥させたケークを破砕して各種寸法の顆粒を製造し、 10)粒径0.1〜2mmの顆粒を選択し、 11)上記粒径の顆粒をすすぎ、全ての固体微粉の少なくとも一部を除去して粒状 チタネート生成物を製造する。 26.洗浄を加圧濾過器で行う請求項25に記載の方法。 27.破砕をジョークラッシャーで行う請求項25に記載の方法。 28.水と、硝酸リチウム溶液、塩化リチウム溶液、硝酸ナトリウム溶液、塩化 ナトリウム溶液、硝酸カリウム溶液、塩化カリウム溶液、硝酸アンモニウム溶液 および塩化アンモニウム溶液からなる群の中から選択される溶液とからなる洗浄 剤ですすぎを行う請求項25に記載の方法。 29.粒径が0.3〜0.85mmのチタネート顆粒を選択する請求項25に記 載の方法。 30.乾燥させた物質を破砕前に空気湿度と平衡させる請求項25に記載の方法 。 31.平衡に約1週間要する請求項30に記載の方法。 32.破砕したケークをふるい分けする請求項25に記載の方法。
