990,392. Pneumatic tyres. PNEUMATIQUES CAOUTCHOUC MANUFACTURE ET PLASTIQUES KLEBER COLOMBES. March 14, 1962 [March 15, 1961], No. 9797/62. Heading B7C. A pneumatic tyre carcase is formed of one or more layers each of radial cords 7, 8, some of which are of textile material and some of which are of metal. The proportion of textile cords 8 to metal cords 7 is chosen to provide the strength desired and as shown, the two types 7, 8 may alternate with each other, Fig. 3, or groups of three textile cords 8 may be interspaced by single metal cords 7. If desired, the breaker structure of such a tyre may comprise two or more layers of the same " mixed " cord construction arranged in symmetrical cross-laid low cord angle disposition or in a triangulated arrangement.
