964,765. Drying apparatus. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN A.B. Feb. 19, 1963 [Feb. 19, 1962], No. 6731/63. Heading F4G. In a continuous drier for painted objects, e.g. motor car bodies, in addition to the conventional heaters in the drier, the objects are conveyed past perforated, hot-air distributing, blow boxes 3 extending below and along both sides of the objects so as to direct fine jets of the air substantially at right-angles to them. The side walls of the boxes have a profile corresponding to the contour of the objects and the boxes have a varying net perforated area suited to the different heat requirements of the respective parts of the objects.
