Abstract

934,515. Stoppers. K. RUETZ. Feb. 20, 1962 [Feb. 27, 1961], No. 6448/62. Class 125(3). A bushing 3 of elastically extensible material, with inner and outer walls embracing a bead 2 of the neck of a container 1, has a pouring spout 15 and an annular groove 6; the latter receives an annular bead 8 of a closure cap 7 to detachably hold the cap in position. The inner and outer walls of the bushing are firmly held by the cap which is formed with diametrically opposed projections 11 which, when the cap is turned, ride over similar spaced projections 13 on the bushing so that the cap is moved axially to draw its bead 8 from the groove 6.
