In a spring cushion structure 10 with a baseframe 11 having spring units 12 secured thereto each unit has a base element 16 with rear section 17 and front section 18 and a load-bearing section 19 with a rear section 22 secured by a clip 24 to offset portion 23 of the base element and an offset portion 26 secured similarly to a part 28 of the base element. A border wire 75 is secured to the assembly by clamping bands 76. U.S.A. Specification 2,684,844 is referred to.
