Abstract

725,273. Boxes. ZARGES, W. Jan. 2, 1953 [June 10, 1952], No. 175/53. Class 18. The lid of a collapsible box of the kind having all sides hinged to a base, is connected to the rear wall 3 by links 11 whereby it may hinge back and rest against the wall 3. Pivoted loops 8 hold the sides erect and pins 25 engage apertures 22 in the rear of the closed lid. Toggle elements 18, 19, 20 hold the box closed and have apertures 28 for a sealing wire. In the collapsed condition, the folded down sides are enclosed between the base and lid, pins 24 on the base engaging the apertures 22, and the toggle elements 19 engaging hooks 27 on the base.
