525,399. Coating surfaces; coating- compositions. GRANITESE (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd., STAPLES, G. J., and McGUFFIE, J. C. B. Nov. 8, 1938, No. 32402. [Class 95] A cold glazed surface is imparted to structures of brick and stone, concrete or plaster, by first applying a sand-Portland cement mixture containing a waterproofing agent, and then applying, by spraying, a coating composition comprising water, water-soluble casein and white Portland cement, with or without a pigment, which mixture has been sieved before spraying. A final waterproofing coating may be applied, consisting, for example, of water, beeswax, potassium carbonate and fish glue.
