[Class 97 (i)] A shield is composed of two parts 1 of flexible transparent material, joined by a seam 2, with a close fitting rim 3 at the top and an internal partition with a rim 6 to fit below the eyes. The partition comprises two parts joined by a seam 5 and attached to the inside of the mask at 4. The seams 2 and 5 allow folding, and further seams may be provided for this purpose. The upper part of the shield may be coloured. Holes 8 give ventilation. A headband 7 is provided.
