456,256. Roofing-tiles. LUDOWICI KOMMANDITGES. AUF AKTIEN, C., Jockgrim, Rheinpfalz, Germany. March 5, 1936, No. 6739. Convention date, March 5. 1935. [Class 87 (i)] Interlocking roofing-tiles of the kind laid fourfold at each corner and having on the upper face a continuous draining groove a bounded by ribs k, a<1>, b<1>, b<11> and with a gap c, Fig. 1, are provided with steps k<1>, b and an outer rib h which slopes inwardly and may have a curved or angular extension h<1>, Fig. 8. The rib k merges upwardly into the edge cover arch e, Fig. 3, which is grooved and ribbed on the underside to interlock with the ribs b<1>, b<11> and groove b. A draining groove s and a shoulder may be provided on the rib b<1>. The shoulder k<1> may extend to the outer edge of rib h. The lower face of the tile, Fig. 5, is formed with a hanging nib p, seating boss q, tying eye r, and ribs b, b<1> which lock with the ribs k, k<1>.
