449,345. Composite facing - tiles. FOSTER, H. B. H. HYLTON-, 21A, Noel Street, London. March 1, 1935, No. 6495. [Class 87 (i)] A facing-tile comprises a base A of fibre board or other flexible and sound-absorbing material such as compressed cork and a covering D of leather or leather substitute extending over the face of the base and secured to the sides thereof. A layer C of felt, asbestos or rubber may be interposed between the base A and covering D and a wood or metal frame B may be fixed round the base A. The edges E of the covering D are preferably chamfered off to a thin edge.
