[Class 132 (ii).] A box 1 for shuffling cards has a door 4a through which the pack is introduced, a knob 28 being then pushed inwards to slide forward a wedge member 25 so as to push the cards, singly or in groups, along the shelf 16 and over the edge of a pivoted member 18 into a lower compartment 29, where the cards meet an inclined surface 20 and fall back against a partition 19. The box is then reversed, and the pack falls into the compartment 30, rotating the flap 18 in passing. Two packs of cards may be stored in the compartments 23, 24. The front of the box may be fitted with a slide containing a glass panel and an opaque shutter, and by removing the slide two bridgescoring blocks and pencils may be introduced into the chambers 29, 30.
