Abstract
Seed disinfectants to be applied in dry powdered form are treated, to prevent the rising of dust during use, by incorporating there with a mixture of oleaginous substances capable of absorbing several times its weight of water. According to examples, tolyl- or phenyl-mercuri acetate, talc, and mixtures of wool fat with olive oil or petroleum jelly, are milled or mixed together. Pigment such as iron oxide may also be added. Other oleaginous mixtures referred to are oleic acid, beeswax and petroleum jelly; and lanogen and petroleum jelly. Specification 241,568, [Class 81 (i)], is referred to.
